These two bedrooms share a second full bathroom. The guest house also features vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and an open floor plan. The living area offers a comfortable sofa that opens to a sleeper sofa for two and an armchair that focuses on the electric fireplace and brand new flat panel HDTV with DirecTV digital satellite programming. The house was as promised
The house needs lots of TLC. Not clean inside or out. Very sparsely equipped kitchen unless you need multiple coffee pots…which they did have. The nicest part in the house was the kitchen island. The covered outside area was nice, but dirty and messy. IN A NUTSHELL THE HOUSE IS JUST NOT KEPT UP AT ALL!!! You can definitely do wonders with house photos when trying to rent a place.
Our two children and spouses soen the week enjoying each other and the adventures we had. House was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. My husband loved the fishing in yhe lake and we loved the hiking and the girgeous views. Banner Elk and Boone wete a treat to visit! It was a beautiful blesding for us all!
So we planned this trip due to my son graduating from high school instead of a party we decided on a mountain trip. The day before we decided to do an early check-in and had no pending hassles online. When we got there the passcode did not work so we called the rental office and they were excellent in resolving the issue and was very pleased with their kindness. We very surprised with all the wildlife on this property within the hour of arrival there was a baby fawn along the side of the house. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and other supplies which was great. The back porch with the tv was very calming in the evenings. The only down fall is this property needs a deep clean.
We couldn’t love this property more! The outside is everything we wanted plus more. Our 1&2 year old loved being able to be outside in the covered porch area. The listing was exactly what they said but they forgot to mention the BEAUITFUL Waterfall and creek behind the house. Honestly that took this from great to perfect for us. There was a lot of dust outside and a couple pieces of trash, but nothing we couldn’t pick up and go on with ourselves. We came up to celebrate my nephews life as the anniversary of his passing and we’re so blessed to have had an amazing experience here that we are planning to make this a tradition, including the property
We booked the rental for a 4 day couples retreat. The property was really nice and equipped with everything we needed. Our only issue was the amount of dust that triggered allergies for some. The location was great and really quiet. We love the guest house that our older guest selected for their accommodations. We would recommend the property and even return. Thanks for allowing us to stay.
Great location for skiing Beech Mountain. Beautiful house. Some broken furniture and no welcome folder explaining how to use fireplace, TV etc, or where to eat, things to do. If you are planning on cooking bring all everything you need! The only condiments were salt and pepper. Also be sure to bring pot holders. Again great location and beautiful house and with a little more attention to detail would be a five star property.
The location and layout of the house are perfect. It is well used but not maintained well. The yard had beer cans and cigarette butts and the bedroom fans were disgusting. We loved the big open space of the kitchen and living room. We didn't use the guest house but it would have been perfect for another family or in-laws. We loved the outdoor decks and yards for snow sledding. However it is right on the main road and I think the front yard is a picnic area for the beech mountain subdivision. We loved our stay and would stay again because I don't know if we could find better location but would expect to do some cleaning on arrival, bring covers for sofa, and vacuum bedroom carpets. Also the jacuzzi was dirty. It smelled weird and every few minutes globs of hair would float up. We only used it one time. The contract was very responsive to a few questions.
Please call me at +18658500863 for conversation. Too much to list but I’ll be happy to tell you about it. I do have pictures to support what I’m telling. I’d like for the property owner to call me. He/she will not be happy as we were really disappointed.
We had 4 couples on motorcycles stay here for our annual trip. Property was clean but dated. Central outdoor common area was great gathering place for the 8 of us. the large kitchen counter top allowed all of us to dine together. Kitchen utensils as well as pots and pans could have a better selection for preparing larger meals. We were able to park two pickups with 12 ft and 14 ft trailers in the driveway and still had plenty of room to park the bikes.. Would definitely recommend staying here again.
