Walking into this beautifully decorated historic home felt like stepping into a Pottery Barn catalog with a touch of local heritage. The attention to detail was incredible—everywhere you look, there’s a perfect decorative accent that blends modern style with historic charm. The Christmas decorations, complete with a gorgeous tree, made the experience even more magical. Unique touches reflecting the home’s history and the local culture added so much character. The house was warm, cozy, and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming getaway with authentic historic accents!

Cozy cabin and very clean! The owners of the home are so sweet and left us a dozen eggs on the porch one morning and it was such a kind gesture. We were only sad that we had no plans to cook while we were there so we didn’t have anything to do with them, but the thought was very nice. Place is super cute and we had everything we needed.

Loved everything but the kitchen. We cook rather than going to restaurants due too health reasons. There was no room to store food. The fridge is very small and old, there is a tiny freezer the size of a small box of crackers. The stove is very old as well and the oven tiny. I would recommend buying new ones but with the retro look to fit the look of the cabin.

Clean, comfortable house. It’s small, but fine for a couple of people. This historic home has retained its authenticity, and is really pretty. The covered front porch is a good place to relax and listen to the birds singing. We enjoyed it.

This house was very clean and comfortable. It’s small, but just right for a couple of people. It’s a historic home and has kept its authenticity, and it’s really pretty. The covered porch is a nice area to sit and relax and listen to all the birds singing. We would stay here again.

This home was very clean and well described in the advertisement. Beds were very comfortable and the home is in a great location close to Crossville City and Cumberland State Park. I would definitely stay there again.

Very Clean, well equipped. Refrigerator doesn’t have a freezer that holds ice and no laundry. Beautiful yard and backs up to a field. It was perfect for us.

Absolutely adorable and wonderful little place!! Far enough from everything to feel like an escape yet close enough to not feel like we drove forever to get to places! So comfy and cozy. Truly 10/10 place to stay!

I found this stay via the owners' other business, Deep Draw Yak Ranch, which I HIGHLY recommend visiting...especially since it's so close! This homestead was absolutely gorgeous, I loved everything about it. In addition to being an original property with original construction and appliances, its modern amenities didn't take away from the throw-back feel at all. The home was beautifully appointed and cozy, and the beds were super warm and comfortable! I definitely appreciated the room darkening shades- a small, but meaningful detail. The owners also surprised us with a set of cupcakes from a local bakery, which was not just beyond generous, it was delicious, as well! If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. I absolutely loved staying here and can't wait to come back!!
