Beautiful cabin , great location. Quiet

This property has been lovingly restored. They tell the history of the Lake Arrowhead area and the restoration of their cabin, complete with photos. The restoration was very thoughtfully done. The cabin includes all of the essential for a very comfortable stay (e.g., kitchen stocked with dishes and cooking basics, small dishwasher, washer dryer, gas fireplace to ensure cozy days in winter, etc.). Location is in easy proximity to grocery and restaurants.

I have found this wonderful the Historic Hershey Cabin when I was searching for a place for myself for retreat. I enjoyed every minute of my stay in this special cabin. First of all, this unique cabin is the best for a single traveler or for a couple who look for a romantic getaway or just a retreat in the forest. The owner Paul and his wife literally thought every details you might need during your stay. Everything was 10 out of ten for me. I will definitely will stay in this place. Thank you Paul for creating and sharing this amazing place with us.

Very comfortable and very well appointed cabin for two. Clean, terrific kitchen--small but everything you need. Comfortable bed. Great area. Sat on the deck among the trees morning and night. Very responsive host. You will relax. Lake Arrowhead town center is just a few miles away with good restaurants, a Stater Bros. grocery, and the lake is lovely. We will return.

This is a beautiful property, very well maintained, and super clean. It is perfect for two people, and stocked with all the amenities necessary to make your stay a memorable one. The owners have thought of everything down to the details. They even have an Adventure Pass that can be used if you venture out into the surrounding National Forest, which would need to be purchased otherwise. Very thoughtful. I will book this home again in the future.

Very quite, cozy and beautifully remodeled cabin for a couple to stay over a romantic weekend. Nicely furnished with full kitchen amenities. The host was very polite and professional to follow-up with our inquiries. We hope to visit the Hershey Cabin again when we get a chance. We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything that you need to make your stay comfortable. It was the most coziest, quaint little place we have ever stayed. The fireplace made everything feel so romantic. It is a great location as well. There is so much to do in the area whether you are looking to do outdoor activities or just shop. The owners of the historic Hershey Cabin/ Burnt mill Cottage are wonderful to work with you. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Super clean. Kitchen and bath were well stocked. Communication with the host was excellent, very responsive and friendly. Perfect place for a getaway. Can’t wait for another stay!

Paul and Janice have created a perfect, beautiful, get-away cabin. Thoughtful decorating provides warmth and is so very inviting. Every detail was as the description suggested it would be, with informative labels for everything along the way. They communicated with us all along the way and made us feel very welcome. We have stayed in many rental homes and this, this was the very best ever.

Imagine waking up in a treehouse?! That’s what it felt like. My hubby and I loved staying in this beautiful cabin. Had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful (maybe extra because we did a mid-week stay?).And don’t forget your yoga mat because the back deck was the perfect place for stretching and breathing. Paul was excellent at communicating beforehand and the cabin has easy to follow instructions on how to start the fireplace, heater/ac, etc… Due to health benefits we did all of our eating there utilizing all of the kitchen amenities and it was perfect. Hope to go back soon! Will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends for their romantic getaways.

We love the decor - it was very thoughtfully cultivated. Very close to Arrowhead village so enjoyed that. Parking easy. very spacious. We'll be back and recommend the place to friends and family that want an intimate welcoming home.

It was an exceptional stay. The cottage had an amazing mountain feel, very tastefully done interiors. I have never seen a vacation home so well marked with instructions and labels for each cabinet, device, control etc. It felt like a virtual help always there for you.It is a compact cozy stay for a couple. Snow during our stay was totally unexpected but when it did, the bed which is at the same level as the large windows overlooking the landscape, had the best view to laze all day, enjoying the rains followed by snow covered trees.The host is easy to communicate with and helpful . We will definitely go back again. One thing which we wished the property had was a hot tub.

My stay at Hershey cabin was amazing and whimsical. The host was absolutely a doll. Willing to help us dig out our vehicle and making being snowed in a breeze. The cabin is well appointed with easy instructions. If you’re looking for a cozy romantic retreat this is the place.

This cozy cabin for 2 was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We lit the fire each evening and enjoyed a glass of wine on the comfy sofa. The kitchen was fully equipped with just about anything you'd need to cook with. Bed was very comfortable and we loved waking up surrounded by trees! Hosts were great and checked in to make sure everything was good for us. They left nice touches like Hershey chocolates, lip balm and a bottle opener to remind us our stay in their cabin. Location was perfect for getting to the lake, village and local hikes. We would definitely stay there again.

This immaculate, cozy, beautiful cabin is more house from the outside but cabin on the inside. That said, I've never stayed in a cabin with a kitchen so well equipped and every detail meticulously addressed. Instructions for all aspects of your stay are not only in the initial email instructions, they're also in the cabin. Plenty of resources to find activities in the area and a wonderful book on both the history of the area and on the massive refurbishment of the cabin. The host literally called me a day after my stay to make sure everything was great. He clearly cares deeply about not only the property but the satisfaction of those who stay there. I could not recommend this property more highly!

This is the BEST VRBO experience we have ever had. The attention to detail and communication with the host was terrific. The cabin is beautiful and so warm and inviting. Waking up among the trees makes you feel like you are in a tree house. It is luxurious in every way! The storied history makes it so much fun and the hosts have documented it beautifully.

I had the great pleasure of staying at the “Hershey” house for 2 1/2 weeks and I was stunned by this beautiful cabin. It was apparent that the original home had been impeccably redesigned and upgraded with great care and artistry. This cozy cabin in the woods has gorgeous warm knotty pine wood walls, a beautifully designed stone fireplace and comfortable, rustic antique furniture. The stone and tile work throughout the house is exquisitely crafted with an arrowhead design and small squares of gold artistically placed. The colors of the beautiful kitchen tile counters complement the warm glow of the rest of the cabin. The bed is very comfortable and surrounded on two sides by large plate glass windows that showcase an up close view of the forest, birds and squirrels; a great place to read and drink coffee/tea. The kitchen is well organized with a great assortment of labeled kitchen ware and beautiful new appliances. The owners were very pleasant, responsive and helpful in the reservation process and during my stay at the cabin. Helpful instructions are placed throughout the home (i.e. the fireplace, tv). There is a beautiful and interesting picture book that describes the history and restoration of the home, and binders full of information about the area. By far, this is the most beautiful and comfortable vacation home I’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy. For me it was heavenly, and I truly hope to return as often as I can!

The Hershey cabin is fabulous! It is quaint, cozy and so comfortable. Everything about the cabin was perfect. The hosts have done a great job at making the cabin organized and easy to use. The furnishings were beautiful. It is an exquisite cabin. I 100% recommend staying here and I would love to return.

Let's just say they are soooo thrilled with the whole experience that they called Paul and booked an additional night. My birthday gift to my son was 2 nights and he added another night. They love, love, loved it!!! I'm sure it will be a highlight memory for years to come!!!

Cozy cabin for two, very clean, reasonably close to Lake Arrowhead village with shops and good restaurants. The cabin upgrades are well thought out. We're looking forward to staying there again in the future.

We celebrated our 38th Wedding anniversary at the Hershey Cabin. It is as advertised. It had everything we could have needed. Perfect for a relaxing weekend or more. The Lake and Village were a short drive, Blue Jay was a short drive, both have grocery stores and restaurants.

Just like walking into a dream. Everything was definitely prepared with others in mind. All directions instructions and things being labeled was very helpful to enjoy a relaxing stay of doing nothing. Thanks again

Hershey Cabin did not disappoint. The host was very thorough and our check-in went smoothly. Upon entering every detail was thought of. We enjoyed the sanctuary of this little gem and found it to be perfectly situated for privacy while being just a hop skip away from local activities. The cabin itself was simply impeccable. Beautifully decorated and with every creature comfort you can possibly imagine. If you are looking for the perfect escape, plan on incorporating Hershey cabin into a must do destination. We will definitely be returning.

This is a lovely property, perfect for a 2/couple. It has everything you need for a wonderful get away. The owners are good communicators and truly want your stay to be delightful! We will definitely be returning.

I would say it is about 650 - 700 sq feet cabin with the styling of a traditional old cabin but renovated to utilize every space like a NYC apartment. Everything is labeled, great view from the bedroom window, and while there is a road below, the traffic on that road is super minimal so it is really quiet. I enjoyed sitting in the bed watching the fog roll in on a rainy night through two bedroom windows. The living space outside of the bedroom provided all the comfort of a private living space while the bedroom itself, especially with the door closed felt like I was in a small tiny cabin in the remote woods which was great.Lake Arrowhead Village is about 5 mins away and it has Stater Bros, Jersey Mike, and etc so no need to stock up before driving up.

Me and my husband were so pleased with our stay at the Hersey Cabin. It was as they say, immaculate. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. The owners thought of everything when it came to a guests stay at the cabin. Everything is neatly labeled and easy to find. There are two binders of information on hiking trails, restaurants and things to do near and around Arrowhead Lake. The location is absolutely beautiful and so quiet. We loved our stay there and will be going back.

The Hershey Cabin is delightful. The owners have thoughtfully created a very welcoming space.We had everything we needed from soft plush towels, a welcoming fireplace, comfortable bed in the trees, a well equiped kitchen, and a small wrap around deck that catches the afternoon sun. The perfect spot to read and enjoy the sound of wind in the trees. We had one unexpected need, and the owner was available with the right solution! Thank you!

Cutest little cabin. It has several little Hershey odes, that are ever so cute. Great location, very clean. There is even a notebook to help guide your stay in the area that is very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thank you for making such a great place available!

Took a few days off from the city to enjoy some nice fresh air and quiet. The cabin was very enjoyable. It was so cozy and had everything we needed. It is also really close to the lake and felt very safe. The binder in the cabin had so much information that really helped as well. The property owners really showed their effort through the small details. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Hershey cabin was everything we hoped it would be and more. My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway for my birthday which also coincided with Super Bowl Sunday and we could not have picked a better location. We had hoped for a beautiful and quiet home to recharge and Hershey checked every box. I highly recommend staying here.

The Hershey Cabin was perfectly cozy, immaculate, decorated to match the mountain living, and sits in a perfect location.. we enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, enjoyed playing cards in the crisp outdoors on the patio. We also went on a beautiful hike and explored an off the beaten path thrift store. Perfect trip and can't wait to return!

If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, cozy getaway, this is your place! This cabin is immaculate and has everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever cookware, utensils, etc... that you may need to cook a meal. The cupboard shelves are labeled so there is no guesswork about where things belong. There are tasteful instructions on how to light the fireplace, use Alexa, etc....Communication with the owner is prompt, polite, and courteous. They even provide an Adventure Pass to put in your car if you want to take some local hikes. The bed is super comfy, and there are two armoires to store your clothes in. The balcony outside the bedroom wraps halfway around the cabin and is perfect for morning coffee and meal times. There are beautiful pine trees that provide dappled light on areas of the deck, and there is a small umbrella for more shade if needed. The cabin is historic and has a cool book about the refurbishment of this old hunter's lodge. Parking is a little tight, as the road has a hairpin turn. We found it easier to go straight up the road, turn around, and come back to the parking spot and park facing towards the main road. You can fit a truck there, but it would be tight. We took our Toyota Camry and there was plenty of room. You can hear traffic on the road below, but it's not bad. If you keep the windows closed at night, you can hardly hear the cars traveling the road. It is a peaceful, cozy cabin and we highly recommend it.

This charming and cozy cabin provided the perfect location for our getaway to Arrowhead. It was like sleeping in a tree house. The cabin is meticulously maintained and is a five minute drive to the village. Everything two people need for a relaxing getaway.

This cabin was updated and well appointed. From the leather future to the hand blown glassware pieces, this cabin was just perfect. Modern meets rustic and is exactly how I would have designed this cabin if it were mine. Everything was very clean and communication was right on target with the owners, who were very kind and accommodating. I will be coming back again for sure!

The Hershey Cabin is a very unique, very beautiful property. It has an interesting history and has been lovingly rehabilitated and restored by its current owners, who have done a first class job. The description of the cabin on its listing is highly accurate. It is perfect for two people and is in a very quiet location minutes from Lake Arrowhead. It has been beautifully decorated by someone who knows what they are doing and is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I cannot think of anything negative to say about this property. I was very impressed about how new, neat, and clean it was. Every gadget worked and had instructions available. Good job to the owners!
