Hilltop Hideaway- Cozy Updated Waterfront Retreat on Tiger Cat Chain of Lakes

Everything was great. Would like to stay here during future snowmobile trips to Hayward area.

We had a great time at Hilltop Hideaway, perfect base for exploring the Hayward area. Thanks for the use of all the kayaks and canoes-the lake is perfect for padddling! Everything in the cottage was functional and clean.

Cabin was perfect. Had everything we needed for us and the kids. We’ve stayed in a number cabins in similar settings and this was by far the nicest. It’s a cabin that you actually enjoy spending time in, not just a place you put up with because of the location. Had an amazing vacation and caught tons of fish.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Convenient to activities in downtown Hayward.

Our family of four had a great trip to Hayward. The house was close to town while still being secluded. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoes on the quiet lake. Owners responded quickly to messages. Would stay here again!

Very clean, very attractively and recently renovated and decorated, very well-stocked with anything I needed. My primary purpose in staying here was that I have family nearby, but beyond that, it is in a beautiful forested area with lovely lakes all around. The rec room is great for kids--older kids, too! Hayward is a fun little town with all kinds of shopping opportunities and restaurants. All kinds of water sports are literally just a very short walk from the cabin. It's a great place!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Quiet area surrounded by nature. Plenty of things to do and kayaking on the lake was so peaceful. Thank you and we will be back.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for to stay for the holiday weekend. Our boys loved the kayaks, lake for swimming, and especially the detached rec room for late nights. We used the black stone grill for meals, the campfire pit was perfect for cooler nights, and the modern amenities were ideal. Awesome little cabin with private lot on quiet wooded road. Very clean cabin! We visited the Apostle Islands, toured downtown Hayward, and shopped for gifts. I definitely recommend this booking and the hosts were wonderful in communicating with us. We will book again!

My family enjoyed our time at the cabin- my kids especially loved the game room, dock and firepit! It's a quiet lake and quiet neighborhood, which was perfect.

We have 4 kids with my wife and I, and this property was perfect for our family. The kids all slept in the bunk room while my wife and I had the bedroom. Huge game area, fire pit, etc. We left and did everything around Hayward, but really could’ve spent a week there enjoying the property. Will look for the property again on our next visit.

Hilltop Hideaway was a great spot for family to be together. The cabin is quaint and provides all that you need for 8 people. The Blackstone was great to use for our meals. It is a little walk down to the lake and the fire pit, but it provided time to get some extra steps in. The kayaks were great to explore the lake. Appreciated being able to dock our boat right at the cabin. Additional space to play games and hangout was a nice touch for our older children to hang out. Thank you for sharing your sweet cabin.

The property was very clean and it was a cute little cabin. We had a lot of fun doing all sorts of activities.

We loved our stay at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and upscale, yet homey. It is great for a couple or a family. We enjoyed kayaking through the chain of lakes. We also took a day trip to see some waterfalls in the UP. The cabin had a secluded feel which we loved, but was close enough to Hayward to pop over for some shopping. The hosts were very communicative and went above and beyond.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Hideaway. The cabin has been flawlessly remodeled and updated with the up north feel but has all the modern amenities. The kitchen had everything needed to feed a big family. The teenagers especially enjoyed the game room and made use of the kayaks and canoes. It was also fun to cook on the black stone griddle. I enjoyed watching all the wildlife in the area. Highly recommend a stay at Hilltop Hideaway.

We loved our stay at this property. The host communicated often and told us to let them know if we needed anything. They provided life jackets with the included kayaks and canoes which was amazing. The game room was also an absolute hit and so nice to have the separate space! We kayaked out to the sandbar on the lake and the water was crystal clear. The house was very clean and well kept, the kitchen was well stocked and there were fans and heaters in the bedrooms, we were very comfortable. We would love to visit again!
