Pro: Cabin has more than what you need which is great. View is perfect, neighbor just close enough. Rooms are large and sitting around spaces'. TV had every option you can think of. Con: dirt/gravel entry was slick and stuck twice. Sadly I missed that there was no dishwasher. Beds handmade and all beds need new mattress.
This is a very cool cabin in the woods. Really, it's in the woods. We saw deer almost every day we were there. That's surprising since the home next door is a little sketchy looking with old cars and junk all over. The home inside is really cool with the live edge cabinets and log furniture. Very comfortable beds and I great have room. The house had a new deck installed, larger then photos show, which was nice. With that said they were covered in leaves when we arrived. The road to this home is extremely rough and 4 wheel drive is a must. I also suggest bringing a leaf blower if there in the fall or winter.
Like the proximity to Ellijay or even Blue Ridge if you wanted to go to town. the cabin was very clean and nice.
The house itself is really nice. Beds are very comfortable and a great view. Downsides for us was that the hot tub, while really nice, leaked pretty bad so we were only able to use it the first day. Also, the heater in the basement / billiard room did not work.
The interior finishes and decor give it a warm cabin feel.
The cabin was clean and well stocked with all that we needed. The hot tub and deck area was very nice. Very peaceful and the autumn scenery was breath taking. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to be in a peaceful setting but close enough to Elijah and Blue Ridge to be able to go and do things. Thank you for a beautiful stay and all the memories ❤️
Everything was well cleaned and tidy. Beautiful view and comfortable couches and bedding. Having some wood available for fires would have been nice. I was excited there was a small crockpot and plenty of dishes/pots.
The house was perfect. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were great, the kitchen had so much of what you could possibly need. There hot tub was clean and got up to the temp we wanted. Be weary of the road coming up to the cabin, it is very steep with some sharp turns. But once you make it, it’s definitely worth it.
The refrigerator did not work and according to the guest log book it’s been broke and reported for several months. The hot tub was extremely dirty and not enough water. I was informed the property is on a well and the property management has to choose to fill up the hot tub or water for the house. Completely unacceptable
The inside of the cabin were great, the beds were very nice great bathrooms and plenty of space for people. It would have been nice to know that the large refrigerator was not working and we needed to use the smaller loaner one, also that the hot tub was usable because on line it says it's out of commission. But on a whole the inside was GREAT. The outside could really use a lot of care, over grown grass, weeds, the lightswitch at fire pit had a wasp nest, it just really needs some work. Would I recommend this place yes most definitely,
The cabin was really neat. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The scenic view from the deck was incredible. The gravel road accessing the cabin is a little tricky. The property owners should really get together and share maintenance duties on the road. Overall, it was a great experience. We had a great time!!
We had a great time at this cabin! It was beautiful. Our only issue was the fridge didn’t work the entire time we were there and all of our food we bought for the weekend went bad. Every time I grabbed a plate, cup, or silverware it was dirty… and the grass was pretty over grown, it was hard to walk our dog to let her use the bathroom. Besides those issues, we really had an amazing time and were super sad when it was time to leave. It is a charming and super cozy place to stay!
Home was really nice. Spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was big and plenty of space to cook and dine as a group. Living room was small but cozy. Bathrooms were spacious and water was hot. Bedrooms were large. King size bed downstairs had overkill of pillow top. Overly soft. Decks were great. What a view! That alone would have us rent again. Suggestion add table and chairs to deck below to eat out on. Bad stuff: towels were all damp to wet in closets. We had to rewash and dry them. Really bad stuff: mice droppings in the utensils drawers. All drawers! We again cleaned items in cabinets and drawers where we had to use items to cook. Some we just didnt touch. Nice that they brought traps but no one came to clean it up. Just a heads rocking chair on lower deck has rotted arm might want to replace.
The cleaning crew had the cabin ready early so when we got to Elijay at 2:30 pm, we drove straight to the cabin. Had a little lock issue but the customer service was excellent and got us right in. The heat was set to emergency mode and we were unfamiliar with that so it was 57 degrees until Saturday but my wife found that and got it going. Regardless of a few bumps, we absolutely loved our stay. It's a beautiful place and we look forward to going back. P.S. we understood checkout was 10 am the 26th. We were gone by 9:20 am. With loading vehicles and searching the cabin so nothing left behind, I didn't get the checkout text until we were several hours headed home. I listened to the text through my car connected phone and answered with a voice text but I don't text or search my phone while driving. I haven't responded yet to the checkout text because we had been gone for 3 or 4 hours when I saw it. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience, I was unaware I needed to do that to checkout.
This cabin had everything we needed to have a great vacation with our family and dog - cozy wooden interior, breathtaking view of the mountains, fireplace, jacuzzi, play room. We had a wonderful time. Everyone could find the things to do there. Cabin was clean with plenty of extra pillows and blankets, and very well equipped kitchen. There were no fire wood so we drove to buy some. Ellijay is a nice small town with shops close by. Walmart was just 10 minutes away. I recommend this cabin and will definitely book my next vacation with Vacasa. Thank you guys for a great service.
