If you're looking for the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons, this cabin is NOT for you, but if you're looking for a rustic country cabin with loads of country character, you've found it. Built during the 1980's by a self-described local hillbilly for his family, this cabin is pure country. Resting on nearly an acre atop one of the higher points in Sevierville without the white-knuckle mountainside roads, the cabin boasts beautiful views including the French Broad River in the distance.
Take in the breathtaking view while you enjoy a beverage or a meal on the wrap around porch or take advantage of the spacious yard for family activity. Inside there are two 75 inch TV's for your streaming pleasure as well as a TV in every bedroom. If you have a large group with different meal requirements, there are two full kitchens for your culinary needs.
At the end of the day, relax in a large hot tub that can accommodate most of your party. To complete your country experience, if you listen carefully, you can even hear the occasional moo from a cow in the distance. If you want to feel country in the country instead of just luxury, this is the place for you.

Loved the rustic cabin. However the cooling systems are very difficult to manage. Eco friendly thermostats for main floor and basement and seemed to do their own thing even when we manually adjusted. No hot water in the bathroom on the main floor. Also the upstairs bedroom has a portable AC unit which again would not stay on to cool the room. Made some of the stay a bit unpleasant for 9 people. Hot tub was great as were many other amenities.

    1) Before check-in, we got a call that the plumbing was backed up and sewage was seeping into the tub. 2) We arrived at the property hours later to a very stinky bathroom that had not been repaired. 3) There was trash all over the back lawn. 4) There was what appeared to be some sort of varmint vomit on the outdoor furniture 5) I have pics of even more. We had to cancel and pray to find other accommodations. We did, thankfully!
