Hillbilly Hideaway at Wolfpen Gap

Was a really nice place.

Cons: 1. The washing machine was broken. No notification from host that it was out of order. This is a serious defect for cabin catering to people riding side by sides in the dirt all day. 2. Host was responsive, but only communicated via the VRBO app. This is a problem given the almost non existent cell and wifi coverage. 3. Gas stove has pilot lights burning but could only be lit with a lighter. When contacted, host was aware of the issue. Might want to post a sign before someone leaves the gas on waiting for the burner to light. Then gas cloud finds the malfuntioning pilot.

The host was very quick in answering any questions. The cabin iss cozy and perfect for a small family. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

Communication with the property owner was excellent! Cute little cabin and wonderful location for what we needed.

Great place to get away from it all and just relax. My dog had a wonderful time exploring the property, and the house was well kept and very well stocked with everything i needed for a comfortable stay. Bed and furniture were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything i needed. Would absolutely stay here again if im ever in the area

We enjoyed the secluded area. Being retired, the peacefulness was great. Loved the cozy cabin. The trails were great with a few challenges. All in all we had fun.

This was our 3rd stay and we love it everytime! We will be back!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Hillbilly Hideaway. Check in and check out was extremely easy. The wife loved the fact that there were no bugs inside the house. I also liked the fast response of Kimberli when ever I had a question. We plan on staying there again .

Enjoyed our stay, the area was quiet, the cabin was updated and clean. The host was fantastic.

Had a great time riding WPG

This cabin was the perfect size for our family. Porch was the absolute best place for morning coffee! We enjoyed playing in the creek and the short drive to the trail head is a major plus. Cabin is not too far out from town so we could make a trip back in if needed.

Conveniently located to Wolfpen Gap, making it easy to leave the cabin on the SXS and only going a few minutes before reaching the trails. Cabin was clean and cozy.

This was 2nd time to stay at the cabin. It was so nice like usual. Make sure and check out the river beside the house. We will be back!

We enjoyed our four night stay and easy access to rhe North trailhead of Wolf Pen Gap trails. Cabin had all we needed. The meadow and water next to the cabin was a bonus.

Very nice cabin, 3 miles to trailhead to ride ATVS. Cabin was clean and comfortable, back in some trees. Beds were comfortable, especially the master.

Great little cabin, close to trails with paved road access to cabin, internet and tv did not work, but we were in nature and good time to unplug. Nice place.

The perfect place for relaxing. Will be back again!

The cabin is great for a small family getaway. It was a short ride from the wolfpen gap. It was peaceful and as described.

We loved this cozy little cabin & the location! Our stay was cut short due to unforeseen circumstances but the owner was amazing! She was accomodating and went above & beyond! The cabin has all the necessities you could need! Very thoughtful touches! We will definitely book this place again when we will be able to stay for a couple days!

We had the best time at this place. Very nice had many things to accommodate the stay already. Beautiful spring behind house that we enjoyed with our dogs. Will be staying here again!

We enjoyed the cabin, it was clean and nicely updated, and everything you’d need was provided. There is a gas grill, but we didn’t use it. The creek on the property is great. We drive a large truck & had a 20ft trailer, it wasn’t super easy getting it turned around with the trees, but we got it. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place and good people

The house is small and cozy but absolutely perfect for a week in the woods. There are so many supplies that we didn’t want for anything. The location is a very short ride to the north trail head, which is exactly what we wanted! There was plenty of space for the truck, trailer, and two ATVs to be parked. We enjoyed our stay!

The cabin is just as described with everything that you need! If you forget anything, it is probably stocked in the cabin. The cabin is very clean! The property was easy to navigate with a large trailer with SxS and easy ride to North trailhead at WPG. Would recommend this property to anyone and hope to stay here again
