It said it had a/c but when we got there(during a record breaking heatwave) there was a single wall unit on the third floor. The rest just had fans. There were coffee grounds leftover in the pot, pee stains on the bottom floor, towels left in the dryer, and other animals scat. It was also super dusty. The place was cute But it needs some TLC. We could not stay the whole time. It got toohot. Left a day early.
We enjoyed our stay. Directions to get to the property and entering were great. The overall cleanliness was good however, the floors could have been cleaner. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Nice property well laid out on side of hill in Running Springs. Great view of Redlands below. Quiet neighborhood with large deck for grilling and hanging out when weather appropriate or indoors. Good bedrooms with lots of storage and extra space. Bathrooms wee excellent. Only comment is driveway is steep and probably only hold one vehicle, however I did have a large truck.
To be fair with this property I want to start with the good ...the place was affordable very spacious. The home was very clean very well stocked with some bathroom toiletries and pantry items. The views were amazing. The owner Sue was very attentive very responsive. We booked this place having family down in Highland CA. thinking it would be a easy commute. We were wrong. Are party consisted of 4 adults 1 being a senior and one child. Unfortunately this home is not senior friendly and we had troubles with my mother going up-and-down the stairs (4 sets of stairs)Me myself had problems with the driveway it's at a steep slight turn driveway and my vehicle was skidding down and I was honestly terrified there is no parking in the street... So parking in the steep driveway was the only option. The unfortunate part for us as well (wich host has no control over)was that the road coming from Highland to the cabin was 14 miles of very steep and turning sharp turns . Which may not be a big deal to a lot of people but unfortunately the locals drive a lot faster than somebody like us who doesn't know the road. We booked this place for 3 nights and opted to not stay the last night.. I think this home is better suited for young adventurous traveler's. I wouldn't recommend it for families traveling with toddlers or young children..
We had a great stay here! The views are incredible. The house was clean, comfortable and exactly as shown in the photos. Communication with Sue throughout was great. We will plan to stay again, for sure.
My friends and I stayed here for a weekend and it was a great stay. Very spacious, definitely would stay again!
