We enjoyed our stay, location is fabulous, and we were comfortable and relaxed. The cabin was mostly clean particularly the kitchen and bathroom, beds were comfortable, linens pleasantly fresh. The view is nice, but not my definition of panoramic. It would be nice if the area in front of the home was tidied up a bit and the front window was washed to see that view more clearly.
This property was nice - it was secluded, quiet, and had great views of the mountains. A few+ things that were not great: **The beds were HORRIBLE. The mattresses are very cheap and very uncomfortable, as are the pillows. This was the most disappointing part of the stay. **The cabin was generally cold (especially on the floors). There is baseboard heat, but it takes awhile to warm up. **The water heater could not keep up with showers. We had 5 people there, and the first person to shower had hot water, and halfway through the 2nd person's shower the water was lukewarm and then cold. The remainder of the people either forewent showering for the day, or else had to wait at least an hour + for the water to heat back up. **The lighting in the mudroom and kitchen could be better. It was very hard to see to access the cabin, and then once inside the kitchen was not well lit. **The telescope that they advertised in the upstairs bedroom was partially disassembled when we arrived, and was not functional. Now for the good - the views of the mountains are awesome. There are tall pines surrounding the property, and it was very relaxing listening to the wind. We were able to sled down the mountain in front of the house - this was great. The views of the stars are amazing. We spent Christmas 2022 in this cozy cabin, and really did have a nice time.
It was a one in a lifetime experience. The only thing we slightly struggled was us not knowing how to access the key code to enter the cabin but everything else was amazing
