Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!
Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!
Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. If you have any concerns about accessing your rental, please call prior to your arrival and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I along with our one year old rented this cabin for our Bryson City stay. At first, I didn’t know what to think about the house not having a dishwasher nor bathtub (only a shower) with a one year old, however, this turned out to make our trip even sweeter. My husband and I took turns washing dishes and I didn’t have to unload the dishwasher like I do at home every morning! We cleaned out the sink really well and the large, deep sink turned out to be the best sink for a sink bath for our toddler. Words can’t express how great of a time we had at this cabin and the memories we made to last a lifetime. Our toddler ran up and down the hallways laughing more times than I could count. We roasted s’mores in the fire pit, cooked great meals in the kitchen, and had an experience that was good for the soul! The front porch is perfect for morning coffee. The cabin was clean but quaint and had the perfect mountain cabin feel to add to our Bryson City experience. It was in a very convenient location to downtown Bryson City, in which we fell in love. The realty company was super responsive and kind to us. The driveway really does give you the “mountain” feel but we didn’t have problems driving up. We’re so thankful for our time in this cabin and the experience our little family had here.

The cabin was beautiful and secluded. It is always nice when owners let you include your fur babies. Would stay again.
We had a wedding to go to and this cabin was perfect for our stay. It was clean, cozy and the beds were super comfy! I would definitely recommend this place for a getaway!
This cabin has absolutely zero view. The driveway is a gravel road up a kudzu patch that has not been trimmed back so it scraped our car everytime we went up and down. The grass is knee high so it was a pain to walk our dogs to potty every day and good luck getting to sit at the fire pit. The pillows and king bed (two twin mattresses) were hard as a rock. Overall it was fine, but I've stayed in several other cabins in this area that were much better for the money. Billy called us the day before checkout to check on us and verify when we were leaving, but at that point there was no use in mentioning the driveway or unkept yard because we were leaving in the morning. Look around, save your money on this one. Nothing impressive about it, mediocre at best.
We thoroughly enjoyed this mountain retreat! The beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. The road up was a little tricky as it was raining but a 4x4 was not needed. I especially loved the rocking chairs on the porch.
We have stayed at multiple cabins in the area and this was in a great spot close to Lake Fontana, Bryson City and Cherokee. The cabin was clean and my dogs loved the dogs beds and deck bowl just for them! : ) beds were comfy, hot tub was great after kayaking and tubing. Not much of a view from the cabin but the top of the driveway is a good place to lookout. Great Stay! Thank you!
The cabin was secluded and quiet, the hot tub was nice, and it was very well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
We had a good time. But would have like more information about items in the cabin. We never figured out the coffee maker. Refrigerator didn’t work but they were fix it right away which was great. Light switches and fans were a little confusing but we figured them out as well.
Two things to improve - discovered that the hot tub wasn't working (parts on order) and the vegetation is starting to overgrow the driveway Positives - really secluded, quiet (some highway noise), bed is very comfortable, modern fixtures, Overall it was a very good stay and would recommend!
My daughter and I had a very enjoyable stay over the Mother's Day Weekend. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. My daughter being an avid bird watcher, and I enjoyed being on the porch watching birds and enjoying morning coffee. The only negative thing was the loud noise from the refrigerator. I called the office and they sent someone out to check it out. It did stop for a while but started back up. It wasn't so bad that it kept us awake. I suggest a new refrigerator. I would rent this cabin again as long as I knew the refrigerator was replaced.
The cabin was clean and inside was very cozy. The outside was not landscaped, had poison ivy and generally overgrown. Once we alerted the property manager, everything was taken care of. The hot tub doesn’t work . Be sure to ask if it has been repaired. Our stay was fine overall. Was disappointed that the hit tub wasn’t working and we were nit told in advance. The fridge wasnt plugged in . The little things matter.
The property was good, need a tv in the small bedroom, why was there two tv's in the living room
The cabin was cozy and clean. The hot tub was a nice addition. The road up to the cabin was a little rough. We have a low slung Honda Odyssey and we had to creep up to keep from scrapping the bottom. The location was close to Bryson City but further than expected to Cherokee.
The cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The beds were amazingly comfortable! Hot tub was nice. I didn’t understand the 2 TV’s in the living room and no TV in one of the bedrooms. But otherwise, it was perfect.
The cabin was very easy to find. The road leading to the cabin was not bad at all. It was about 3 miles to the grocery store and right across the street from a small Citgo for quick snacks. Also, the after hours contact person was always available if there were any issues. There was an issue when we arrived with the cleaning from the previous guests but I can tell you that they took great care of us and handled the issue promptly! The hot tub was very relaxing, esp. since it was snowing outside. All around it was a very comfortable cabin. We will definitely return!
Cabin was cozy, in good shape, and easily accessible. It was well stocked. Would highly recommend staying.
