Hickory Ridge by AvantStay | Incredible Private Elevated Cabin | Sleeps 20!

Our family vacation was superb while staying here. Beautiful place that has everything you need. Would recommend to anyone who wants a fine place to stay while vacationing in Gatlinburg.

It’s a very nice cabin, better than the pictures online. Loved the fact that each bedroom had a private bath, fireplace and access to the deck. Unfortunately, not all access doors to the deck were functioning. The road to get to the cabin is extremely difficult with hairpin turns and essentially not wide enough to meet another car.

This was a very spacious cabin, clean cabin. The communication was awesome. When one of the many TVs didn't pick up, they offered to come fix it, however, it wasn't important to us.

The view from this cabin is not mentioned enough in the listing so we were so surprised when we arrived! The cabin overlooks downtown Gatlinburg and at night it’s extra beautiful! We loved the layout of this cabin. There are rooms that are far away from the gathering areas which masters them extra quiet. The wood burning fire place was a big plus. We had a fire going every evening. This was definitely one of our top 5 cabins for the yearly group trip we’ve been taking since 2001!

Insanely spacious property providing privacy for all your guests. Location is spot on, just a stones throw from downtown. The AvantStay team is fabulous providing white glove support.

This large and comfortable lodge is ideal! It is exactly as pictured and described, and the property management company is exemplary. Every question or request to them was answered promptly and any concerns immediately addressed. The property itself is amazing, with exceptional views of both Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains. We spent a week relaxing and enjoying both the property and the surrounding areas. Kitchen is well equipped (at least 30 coffee mugs, as an example), beds are comfortable, linens of good quality. Every bedroom has its own private full bathroom, plus two powder rooms adjacent to common areas. The balconies were delightful with plenty of chairs and side tables for relaxing. The outdoor rocking chairs are so comfortable, we all wanted to bring a couple of them home with us! I highly recommend this fantastic home as a gathering place for family and friends.

I had my large family stay here for a birthday/retirement celebration. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, as well as a couple extra bathrooms throughout the house I wasn’t expecting! The location was super close to all of the Gatlinburg action. Very convenient for a group wanting to get into town easily and quickly. The road is a little intimidating, but very doable. We were able to park 7 cars in the driveway with a little engineering. Do not leave even your empty cooler outside. A bear took ours and broke into it. We found it up the road. We weren’t even mad. Kind of excited and impressed.

Our one week stay at Hickory Ridge lived up to our high expectations. The large cabin accommodated our group of family and friends very comfortably. The views of Gatlinburg were wonderful, could even hear the music from the porches (although it did not disturb with the doors closed). We were close enough to the town to get there quickly but also enough distance to be away from the hustle of the crowd that busy holiday week. The few small issues we had were resolved quickly with friendly communication from a team of helpful Avant staff. Overall, I’d highly recommend this lovely location, especially for those with a large group. Thanks for everything!

Great location, amazing views of the mountains and Gatlinburg. Very clean house. Well stocked with all of the items you would need in the kitchen. Defiantly be back!

We had a great stay with 7 families, parking was a little tight but location was great. The cabin layout was great. We did have a surprise as we were unloading, a bear showed up and was sniffing the back seat of P/U truck but luckily we were able to get him to move on. He came back the next morning and crossed teh street to scale the mountain. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a large cabin.
