Such a great cabin! I got everything I needed. Would totally recommend this to anyone staying in Mena.

Very clean, nice cabin. Comfortable bed, kitchen had what we needed. Wonderful scenic deck. Had problem with wifi password and owner responded immediately.

Cabin is very clean. Love the privacy and peaceful setting.

UPON ARRIVAL YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. SO I TURNED AROUND AND LEFT. BACKED TRACKED AND LOOKED ELSEWHERE. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF GOING DOWN OTHER ROADS, I WENT BACK AND WENT BACK TO PRIVATE RD AND WENT PASSED SIGN. THEN I SEEN ANOTHER SIGN WITH THE ADDRESS AND IT WAS NOT VERY BIG. COULD NOT SEE IT FROM THE SIGN THAT SAID PRIVATE. NORMALY WHEN YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. YOU DON'T GO PAST IT. I SUGGEST A SIGN THAT SAYS HICKORY HIDEOUT.

Extremely clean. Good amenities. Secluded. Peaceful. Great AC. Kitchen fully furnished. Smart TV and Roku on second TV to connect to your apps. Grilled steaks and sat on the deck to eat/drink and listen to the many birds. Got to see a deer as we left.

The host went above and beyond! We were 3 60 something women in town to get my Dad from a rehab faculity and move him back to Texas . He helped us back my dad's truck with a Uhaul attached and positioned it where all we had to do is drive straight out the next morning- .

Everything was perfectly set for our Honeymoon, it was quiet it was personal. It was beautiful, relaxing, and very clean. I love it full kitchen so I could come in and cook for my husband.

I stayed for two nights and it suited my needs perfectly. Some drivers may have a little difficulty starting up the gravel driveway, but it wasn’t an issue for me. The deck and seclusion were my favorite things about the property.

This is a very cool little cabin on a hilltop, close to everything you could need, but still feels solitary. No close neighbors(couple hundred yards), with lots of trees for privacy. Stocked well with stuff you won't find in a motel room. Close to parks, crystals, watersports, and town. I could live there, and my dog jackson loved it too. Even had good cable and movie options. Well done.

Adorable little cabin tucked away in a cluster of trees at the top of the city. We came in on a super cold night but the cabin stayed warm and cozy. Very clean. The large king bed was wonderful. Definitely would stay here again the next time we're coming through town.

Beautiful trees & secluded but safe. Loved the view. Had everything that we needed. Spent a week working in our property so it was nice to come back to a clean & comfortable cabin.

Loved my stay. I feel safe & had such a pretty view with a deck to relax on. Everything neat & clean. Tom is a wonderful host. Provided a space for our trailer at the bottom of the hill. Would recommend for all to stay & enjoy such a wonderful & cute cabin.

Very welcoming. Quiet and very private.this place was like home away from home the huge bedroom and big bed. It’s was comfortable and was able to relax. The host checked on me through messages to make sure I didn’t need anything. Will be booking again on a business trip the next two weeks.

This stay was exactly as listed! It was extremely clean and perfect for our one night stay on our way to visit family for Thanksgiving. Wish we were staying longer!

We have stayed in several vacation rentals in the Mena area and this was by far our favorite! It was perfect! We will definitely be back!

As the couch was intended to make for an extra bed, it was very uncomfortable for sitting. It was a pleasant experience, but felt like some minor things needed some inprovement.

Clean cozy and private Neat and tidy cabin has all you need for a weekend trip! Nice back porch to sit outside by the tall trees and hear the birds. Beautiful fall foliage this time of year! Enjoyed it! Only recommendation would be to add two queen beds instead of one kind bed and fan for circulation in cabin but nicely done.

Everthing was great except the refrigerator was smaller than shown in the pictures on the listing, and the living room furniture was not as comfortable as expected. The cabin is very nice and in a beautiful setting.

Well appointed, secluded cabin, very nice. The driveway is a challenge, it is gravel and on a steep incline, we were there on a weekend of gentle rain, heavy rain may have been a problem. The neighborhood was fine but some may feel it is sketchy, it is on a dead end street and you pass several abandoned homes on the way in.

This cabin was everything it was advertised to be and more. We had a wonderful stay. Only issue was I can't give it and the host more than a 5 star rating. One of the cleanest and best maintained properties we have had the pleasure to stay in.

A/c fine kitchen was supplied well. But did not cook there.

The cabin was very clean. Had everything you would need. The only thing I would add would be something for hanging clothes. Plenty of drawers for folded clothes. Be aware this time of year the acorns were falling and were loud when they hit the roof or deck. Woke me up. Very quite and peaceful other than that. Saw deer and squirrels.

The cabin was very nice and exceptionally clean. It had that new smell. It was so peaceful and quiet. You felt like you were secluded in the mountains and not just minutes from town.

Clean and cute. The refrigerator is very small so I'm glad it was just me. I almost had to engage my 4wd to get up the driveway. I messaged the host an hour or so from the property because I hadn't received any instructions. They messaged back in a half hour or so.Good little place in town if you're looking.

This little cabin is conveniently located less than a mile from Main St. It is clean and well equipped and we enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting on the deck listening to birds sing and watching a squirrel care for her young. I took some really cute pictures! The cabin has a metal roof and it was so soothing when it was raining, not so much when the acorns started falling. I would definitely stay again! Great location in a beautiful setting!

Awesome clean little cabin! Perfect for a couple or single person. Only 2 minor things. One is that there are trains coming through close by and are blowing their horns while you are sleeping. The other is that the driveway is steep and hard to see at night time. Besides those two things, it was great!

This was the perfect place for my small family to retreat to. We were in town for a family reunion. It was nice to return to our VRBO and just relax. It was peaceful and quiet ... which was much needed

Stayed overnight

We had a great time, good location, clean, I would love for the cabin to have a hot tub on the porche for the view to be more enjoyable, it’s the only thing that’s missing otherwise it’s perfect. I definitely stay there again. The host responded quickly to my questions.Very

Property was very clean, amenities were very good. We did not need the kitchen for cooking but it was nice to know it was available if we did.

This property is well thought out and in pristine condition. The driveway is a little tricky turning around in a bigger vehicle but the owner gave great instructions for what to do. This is a great getaway. I was traveling for business and was able to really have peace and quiet and relax. The bed is comfortable not too hard or soft. Don't miss this one if you are in Mena!

Nice little place. We enjoyed the wooden deckand cooking steaks on the grill outside. We had a little communication problem but I blame that on cell service. Grocery store was 5mins away.It looks like he's doing some upgrades and is in the process of a little construction by the materials outside. Not an issue just noticed a little work being done which is a good thing.

The location of the cabin was truly peaceful. It was clean, and comfortable. Its close proximity to the amenities in town was a bonus. We found this cabin to be the perfect size for me and my husband.

Really nice cabin. Great communication. Owner allowed us to drop off our utility trailer early before check in. Zero complaints.

My husband and I wanted something close into town. This was perfect for just the two of us and our little dog. When we were at the cabin if seemed like we were very secluded and up in the mountains.

We added a person last minute to our trip and they accommodated to our need no problem! The instructions were clear and the place was beautiful! Will definitely be returning in the future!

The little cabin is awesome. Almost everything you need( I say almost because I would prefer a bigger tv and a fan) other than that its perfect.

Country feel just three minutes from downtown

Although we were only there for one night our stay was great. The cabin is excellent and everything that we expected. We would thoroughly recommend the location, the cabin, and the host and we return for a longer period sometime in the future.

Very clean and cozy. Appreciated the big refrigerator. TV streaming is a little foreign to us so we had some difficulty with the TV. Gravel driveway is very steep but we made it up the gravel driveway fine in our truck. Kitchen well equipped. Appreciated the big blanket and nice deck. Will stay there again.

This cabin was perfectly clean and exactly as advertised. The gravel road up to the cabin seemed scary at first but it was fine with my 2wd car. Great place to stay for a great price! cabin is fully stocked with everything you may need, and also just 5 minutes from town and walmart. i have a perfect experience and for a great price!! thank you to the hosts!

The cabin is just like 3 minutes from downtown Mena but has a nice secluded feel on a hill in the trees. It is clean and well maintained with everything you need.

It was a quick stay and we didn’t spend much time in the cabin, but it was a great place to rest for the night. The bed & pillows were comfortable, the water was nice & hot, and everything was tidy & clean. It was right there in town, but felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. Perfection!

Booking and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The property was neat and clean. Overall, the accommodation was outstanding. The cabin was located in a peaceful, secluded quiet area. The property manager responded promptly.I highly recommend.

My three kids and I drove up from Louisiana. This was a great little cabin to serve as base camp for our adventures in the area. The house had everything we could need and was very clean. The owner was very prompt in responding and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

It was very clean and was stocked with all of the essentials (dinnerware, coffee pot, microwave, toaster oven, shampoo sample bottles, hand soap, paper towels) the WiFi was good and they even had premade ice in the trays. They had a charcoal grill and utensils for that too. Will definitely be staying again.

Perfect place.

House was new, clean, uncluttered and overall as advertised. Quiet surroundings. Master bed was comfortable - living room couch pullout bed was not used but would be tight for 2 additional people. Communication with the property owner was quick and effective. Only downside was a very weak wifi signal so that the wifi was unusable on our phones - would not connect to internet (cell signal was also weak but enough to connect) - although we were able to stream content on the TV. Gravel driveway is steep but not a problem for our vehicle.

This property is tucked in town, but in the woods, seems very secluded. The house is very cozy and spacious. The property is very clean. We enjoyed our night at this location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Hickory Hideout, and would love to stay there again! It’s very well equipped, even for a longer stay, with cook top, microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and even has a small washer and dryer! The best part was the deck, surrounded by trees! Even though this cabin is in the edge of town, it is on a heavily-wooded hillside, which gives it a very secluded feel.

I'll miss staying here. Thank you, Thomas, for your hospitality!

Peaceful and relaxing, as always!

Very relaxing and calming, really quaint and very clean. I would definitely stay there again. Host was very accommodating and easy to respond when needed. Only negative comment would be road to cabin is not motorcycle friendly unless 3 wheels.

You feel like you’re in a cabin in the woods but a short walk to town. I highly recommend this property and Tom was very responsive for any questions leading up to and during the stay.

My absolute only complaint is that Vrbo did not send check in/out instructions. The cabin was great. Close to town , but the cabin location makes you feel you’re further away from civilization. We will definitely stay here again. Clean, all necessities are there. Great experience!!

This cabin is truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Mena. It is unbelievable. It is very secluded, located on dead end street up on the side of a mountain surrounded by trees, no one around you except for the property owner down below at the end of your own private drive up to cabin, very private, peaceful, very clean, new, outside deck, grill, has all the amenities of home. Although it is in town close to restaurants, stores, shops, and scenic drive you feel you are out in your very own secluded cabin in the forest. My wife and I stayed here two nights on our way through Arkansas. We truly could have stayed a week, it is that relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely make it a point to stay here again when we are in the area. You won’t find a nicer host than Tom. We rate it a 10+++++! You won’t be disappointed.

I didn't stay very long here but it is really cute and comfortable. I plan to return soon. Tom is very responsive.
