Stayed May 1, 2022There was a screened-in back porch with chairs, table, and ceiling fans. The lawn was well kept, there was a swing hanging from one of the trees. The inside was well insulated from outside noise. Good Kitchen and dining table.

Stayed Mar 17, 2022Proximity to the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge is a key attraction: spring migration and spring-summer nesting / hatching bring thousands of birds here. Property borders the refuge, and is itself nbordered by live oaks and bird houses that bring red bellied woodpeckers, eastern bluebirds, black and white warblers, Northern Paula andany more tomyoir doo step. Property now relatively new, spacious, and we'll equipped; excellent WiFi is a bonus.

Stayed Mar 14, 2025Very sparse amenities, read description carefully. I mean, even the cheapest hotels have blow dryers. Dog friendly but can’t walk dogs around the neighborhood ( the refuge ). Suited for tall people.

Stayed Jul 17, 2024I am generally happy with places when I go on vacation. I had an extremely hard time finding this place. GPS indicated it was down at the end of the road and turn right onto the split. The address couldn't be seen on the mailbox or house. I suggest stating that it is islolated, and a concrete building at the end of Harris Neck Rd. to help find it. The furniture and towels need replacing (towels smell a bit like mildew), but the bed is comfy. It would also be helpful to list that it is 20 minutes away from a grocery store so folks can stop on the way in for food and essentials. The manager was great and called me back quickly.

Stayed Jun 13, 2024My uncle turned 75 yesterday & this place is walking distance tohis home. The place was perfect for my stepmother & me. I slept on the sleeper sofa. I discovered it was pretty comfortable when you put all the sofa cushions & throw pillows under the mattress. Very nature friendly.
