Happy Oaks Cabin Retreat on stunning acreage with trees, ponds, walking trails.

It was a beautiful property and a good escape from being at home. It’s tucked away nicely and was perfect for a girls trip. The hosts were really nice!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The fireplace was cozy and welcoming with the cold weather and the cabin was beautiful and comforting inside and out. Definitely would recommend staying here for a rest from the daily routine or just to experience something different.

We loved our stay here at Happy Oaks cabin. Great people and was such a beautiful and peaceful place. Cozy cabin and was welcomed with a sweet card and a few extras for our anniversary. It was a perfect place to celebrate our Anniversary. We will definitely be back! Will be recommending to friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. The welcoming committee (dogs and donkeys) were a treat. The front porch was an absolutely great place to spend the mornings with coffee. Marla was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back.

A small but tastefully decorated and well-equipped cabin in a remote, peaceful location. A perfect place to take a break from your hectic life and recharge.

We had a great time getting away for our anniversary in this wonderful cabin retreat. We were greeted by cows and donkeys, caught a couple of catfish and several bass, and enjoyed watching birds and squirrels from the rocking chairs on the front porch. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Owners are a lovely couple that stopped by as we left to see how everything went. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway and are already planning a return trip in fall.

My little family and I stayed here for our trip to the Ft Worth area and absolutely loved it. The area was perfect. You are still close to everything you need, while not being right in town. The cabin was beautiful and we loved starting and ending our days on the porch enjoying the beautiful scenery. Mrs Marla was very sweet and helpful with the process and anything we needed. We can’t wait to visit again!

Marla was an incredible hostess! The cabin was above and beyond what we could have expected. The listing really doesn’t do it justice. Beautifully fresh picked flowers awaited our arrival- everything was spotless! Quaint, charming and utterly relaxing. Felt like we were a million miles away…..It was exactly the girls day we had hoped for!

Location and cabin were perfect! Fishing was great in the pond and had everything needed for a perfect day.

This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for us. Clean, beautiful, and thoughtful touches from the host throughout the cabin made it extra special. The land is beautiful, surrounded by trees and so many peaceful places to relax and enjoy a little escape from the norm. Also, the host was easy to communicate with and quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
