If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I do not normally write awful reviews, but in this case, I do want to WARN people. My husband and 2 very young children checked into a cabin, and about 30 minutes after going to bed, my husband started itching and getting bit. He had over 20 welts on his body. We tried to get ahold of Rex, the owner but no one would answer their after hours number. We packed up and left by 1:00 A.M. We were booked to stay 3 nights. They hired an exterminator to come check it out. He came ONE week after and Rex claimed they were not bed bugs. You take a look and tell me.....Either way, my husband had welts and when I turned on the lights, 2 bugs were crawling toward my 6 month old. There is no way we could have stayed throughout the whole night. Rex would not return my calls at all (over a span of 3-4 weeks). I was the one calling them. He verbally agreed to refund us $150 which was less than 1/2 of what we paid. He never called back to make that happen; that was over a month ago. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! We had to throw out all the clothes we had on, and our linens as we did not want to transfer anything. We still are out all our money. WHO does this??.,... Has guests stay and doesn't do anything for an experience like this. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I added pictures but was not able to upload the video of them crawling. Also wanted to make a note that another guest who stayed in this cabin also reported bed bugs in August. PLEASE STAY AWAY!

This little cabin is a perfect compromise between primitive tent camping and cabins that cost a fortune. A few steps above a primitive cabin with a mini fridge, microwave, heat, and air. Also well equipped with outlets for charging gadgets. WiFi worked well. My son woke up with bites all over his back which I hope to goodness isn’t bedbugs. The mattresses are plastic so maybe they are just mosquito bites??? Idk. No one else got anything so who knows? The cabin appeared super clean upon arrival and I rated it 5 stars accordingly. The downsides (which may not be downsides to some) include the cabins being really really close to each other. It would be great to have a group of friends rent all 4 out but not knowing your neighbor who is right on top of you could be bad if they are not friendly. Fortunately, we had zero issues with our neighbors! They were polite and stayed in their cabin the whole time. Also, if you want peace and quiet or being submersed in nature, this isn’t the place for you. There is a drag racing track on the next property over and you could hear it well into the night. You get used to it after a while though and it didn’t interrupt our sleep- just something to note. The camp ground is by a fairly well-trafficked road and you can hear cars at all hours driving by. Again, this didn’t bother us oand you get used to it but may be an issue for some. Would definitely recommend and I would like to return with a crew :)

Very cute cabin and a nice area to sit out and enjoy nature I was in cabin 1. The staff were super friendly and it had a very laid back feeling. Golf carts are nice to have available for getting around as well. My only issue that i had was the air conditioning really struggled to stay below 82 degrees in the cabin during the day when the sun was out. Even with opening the door just for a second it was just too much for it to cool in there. I had sent a request for them to make sure the air was cold because my Siberian Husky just cant handle high temps very long. It was very warm in the cabin and thank God I brought our fan or I would of had to leave early since we had mid 90 degree days. It was fine at night once the sun had set. If they would replace the unit it would be perfect.
