Grizzly Inn, a cozy, pet friendly Beech Mountain cabin

We had a great stay over the holiday weekend. The mountain was busy but the Grizzly Inn was quiet and cozy. Everything was clean and the kitchen has anything you might need to prepare a meal. Very close to all the winter activities on Beech Mountain and also 15-20 mins to Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk. It snowed while we were there and AWD was helpful for getting around. Hosts were available throughout our stay. We loved spotting the deer in the mornings. Perfect little spot for our family of 4.

The Grizzly Inn was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed. We’ve stayed in Beech cabins over the last 15 years. I can honestly say this one truly had everything we needed. I showed up with all the essentials I would normally need to bring (toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, ziplock bags, spices, coffee, etc). I never needed to open one thing I brought. They truly thought of everything! The amenities were abundant, the hosts were immediate in their correspondence, and the property was perfect. I’d recommend this property to any small family of 5 or less.

We had another wonderful ski weekend at Beech Mountain and the Grizzly Inn! It's a perfect place for our family of four to enjoy the mountains. Everything looks and feels new and there always seems to be a new feature or upgrades every year. And it's just a few minutes drive to the slopes! We'll keep coming back!!

This was our 2nd visit to the Grizzly Inn and it did not disappoint. It was impeccably clean, had everything we needed and is in a beautiful location. The addition of the deck furniture and heater was wonderful. I can’t say enough about this cabin. It is the perfect getaway.

This is a very comfortable, well cared for cabin with all the convienences of home. Interior space is very clean, new appliances, nice beds and a well lit partially screened rear porch. Gas grill on the porch is clean and there is an outdoor patio propane heater with backup fuel for both. Plenty of modern amenities for the stuck inside days, including a micro weather station that we thought was a nice touch. The driveway entrance and exit are gravel and were easily navigable with an AWD vehicle. It is worth mentioning that first arrival, if at night, does require attention to be payed to the location of the entrance as the exit is a much steeper approach to the cabin. I will note that the exit is clearly marked with a sign. Parking for 2 medium/full sized vehicles is adjacent to the cabin and off the road with marker poles for safety. Close to town, the slopes and trails but quiet with a remote feel. Exceptional communication from owners. Highly recommended.

The Grizzly Inn was the perfect cabin for us. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The screened in deck is a great addition. We made friends with so many deer that stopped by, went on several hikes, had s’mores by the fire, and enjoyed games at the dining table and movies on the couch. We had everything we needed, the cabin just felt like home. We can’t wait to return to the Grizzly Inn!!
