Stayed Jul 19, 2025Cozy farmhouse that feels like home. We were on the farm but we had our own private place. We fully felt at home and enjoyed being on a farm with Polled Herefords, Angus, on one side and horses grazing on the other. Postcard perfect Americana barns dotted the landscape of rolling hills and fences. This farmhouse has gorgeous antiques so you feel back in time but yet it’s up to date and well maintained with all the amenities you need. The kitchen is fully stocked where you can even enjoy a dinner in, or the many distilleries nearby. We enjoyed the Glenn’s creek distillery. The owners were responsive to any questions and requests. They were a step above anyone else we have stayed with by even having croissants with jam for us to enjoy for breakfast. This is Kentucky farmhouse at its finest. Thank you for sharing your cozy home with us! We can’t wait to be back.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025Our family (a senior couple, our daughter from CA, and 3 well-travelled dogs), stayed at this wonderful cabin July 11-13, 2025. We have stayed at many rentals through the years, but this cabin is one of the best. The cabin was spotlessly clean. A modern and clean kitchen had everything we needed for preparing our meals. Nicky gave us a welcome surprise of fresh cream, coffee, and pastries that waited for our arrival. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Fresh soft towels were provided in the bathroom on a warming rack, so wonderful. The outside area provides unbelievable views of the farm land, horses, and cattle. We found Nicky very easy to communicate with, accommodating, and she made us feel very welcome to their beautiful cabin. We will definitely stay here again when in the Versailles area.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025This is a lovingly restored historical log cabin with tons of very interesting features. But, it also has all the modern comforts, a well stocked kitchen, nice towels, antique furniture, etc. It has a wonderfully picturesque views from two porches. I can't say enough good things about the stay!

Stayed Nov 27, 2024We really enjoyed our stay here. We were allowed our 2 family dogs and the quietness was wonderful. The hosts were very accommodating and were very considerate. It snowed our last night there and they contacted us to let us know there was no hurry to check out if we were concerned about the roads. The cabin is so historic, which I truly enjoy. The cabin is located near several of the distilleries we were visiting. It is well stocked! The internet was very iffy but it gave us some great family time with card games. Would highly recommend this place with able bodied people. The stairs are steep, as listed, so not too good for the elderly. All in all, would recommend this cozy, warm and historic cottage.

Stayed Jun 2, 2024I wish I could give Greenwood Farm Log Cabin a 10+ star rating. The cabin is absolutely perfect. There's so much history, in the cabin. Nicky and Campbell's farm is absolutely breathtaking, and peaceful. They were so kind to our family, and let us join in with feeding the horses. The location, of the cabin, is in a great location for touring and shopping. After touring and visiting family, it was a special treat, to sit on the front porch, and watch the fireflies dance throughout the summer night. It was surreal, to see the morning view, from the front porch. The Kentucky morning fog lingering over the property, as the horses walked around in their own field. Absolutely breathtaking. The Kentucky sunset is breathtaking, too. We were sad to leave the beautiful cabin. My family is already making plans to reserve the cabin, for next years trip.
