although the cabin was clean and provided all the basic necessaties, getting to the cabin in the dark was very scary and challenging. GPS constantly lost connection every time making it difficult getting in and out of the area. not close enough to the main road for me.

Cabin is spacious and charming! Well stocked with all you need. Directions for TV, etc. printed and easy to follow. Great deck and porch areas. Loved the nice washer and dryer. Close to the popular towns if wanting things to do or places to eat. We cooked meals at the cabin and it was very enjoyable. A peaceful experience. No bear sightings for us.

This cabin was exactly what we was looking for, it was extremely clean and was well furnished. We love how close it was to every thing but yet it was secluded and in a peaceful area. We would higly recommend staying here and would book again.

This property met our needs and we enjoyed our time there. We were delighted to see bears! The hot tub would have been nice on a cooler day. However, it could definitely use some TLC. The kitchen furnishings are adequate but old. The linens are clean but towels are old and small. There was no soap in one bathroom. The Keurig didn't seem to work but there was a coffee pot (no coffee or filters). The deck furniture needs a good scrubbing and the cushions are too old and dirty to use. The umbrella is faded. The pictures online are not exactly accurate. While our stay was enjoyable in many ways, a little care could bump it up a notch.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, loved the location, the amount of room for my family. We saw a bear about 20ft from the deck. It’s a very beautiful and peaceful place. Upon entering the cabin, I smelled a mildew smell that was over powering. Looks like there was an attempt to make it smell better with wall plug ins, but that just made it worse. There was only 6 towels one of which had holes in it. It would have been nice to have separate towels for the hot tub. The last thing that I would note, is that in the upstairs bathroom constantly had bugs in it. I noticed they were coming out of the over flow drain. We really loved the cabin overall, just a few things that I wish would have made it a more comfortable stay.

What an amazing little cabin in the smokies! If you’re like us and have never visited the smoky mountains, it is worth noting that the drive up to the cabin is very windy and the roads are narrow. This was slightly intimidating on the way in, but by the second time up the mountain we were much more used to it and comfortable with it. Our first night there we saw a black bear right on the road in front of the cabin. It is secluded enough to feel like a “cabin in the woods” but there are other houses around which made us feel more comfortable overall. The inside of the cabin is beautiful! Clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a cabin experience with all the modern amenities. We enjoyed the easy access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without staying in a touristy and crowded area. A huge plus is that the first night we stayed after traveling all day we were able to get pizza delivered right to the cabin without going back down the mountain—which was amazing since we were pretty tired. Would definitely recommend this cabin for your stay in the smoky mountains! A note about the bears: We didn’t have any issues with bears at all at the cabin. As I mentioned above we saw one the first night we stayed and that was the only time we saw one. We kept most of our food trash inside, but even had to put a pizza box outside in the trash at one point and there were no issues. The bear cages around the trash cans do a great job of keeping them away!

Nice stay, pretty fun having Bears visit occasionally. Make sure your car doors are locked, forget to lock my doors one night and the next morning they had gotten inside of it. We watched them go right up to the handles to try and open the car doors. They didnt act threatening, but be careful and keep your distance. Enjoy them.

Great place to stay! Beautiful, clean, nice location! Our only issue was gas fireplace quit working on day 2, and although we reached out to property owner several times, he didn’t offer any addition assistance except telling us to keep trying to restart it.
