Stayed Aug 4, 2022Beautiful, quiet, central location and had everything we needed. Just the right size for two people. Everything was fully stocked so we could make our breakfast before we headed out for the day. Aaron is very friendly! Thanks for everything.

Stayed Oct 23, 2025Everything about this cabin, the owners, and its location are perfect! If you’re looking to explore the national and state parks in this area and don’t like to move from place to place during a vacation, the location of this cabin couldn’t be more ideal (including to Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Spearfish Canyon, and Custer State Park). Regarding the cabin itself, I liked it so much that I cut my last day short in the parks to go back and soak up the coziness and comfort of the cabin. Perhaps most importantly, the owners, Aaron and Michelle, are sweet as pie. Aaron’s pre-trip communication couldn’t have been better. Also they’re right next door or an easy phone call away in case you need them for any reason (I didn’t). In sum, I loved this place and would recommend without hesitation. Thank you, Aaron and Michelle!

Stayed Oct 12, 2025Wonderful location, peaceful, wildlife sightings, so many stars/planets filled the night sky! Very quiet at any time of day! Very clean, cozy and comfortable! During rain or sunny days it was a fantastic stay! Easy access but feels remote. Near everything interesting and beautiful the area has to offer! Fantastic host & easy, excellent communication. Just what my soul needed to rejuvenate. Would stay again!!

Stayed Sep 20, 2025Great property. Clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated for asthetics as well as function. We had plenty of room for two of us.Luxry linens, and plenty of towels were provided. Aaron was good about communicating and very kind. This was the pertfect place away from the crowds, yet a close drive to many sites that the Custer area has to offer. Crazy Horse Memorial is practically a neighbor, with views seen from the end of the cabins road. Mount Rushmore is also close by. Both were amazing. We also enjoyed Custer State Park, Needles Highway, Spearfish, Custer Wildlife Loop, Iron Mountain Road, Peter Norbeck Byway, and Wind Cave National Park, all within 30-40 min drive. Spectacular views. Badlands National Park is a bit farther but worth it.Downtown Custer is pleasant with many shops to brouse and places to eat. If you need to take care of dirty clothes, the Custer Laundromat is nearby and is very clean. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Stayed Sep 13, 2025Beautiful little cabin off the main road. Great view of Crazy-horse Memorial when leaving cabin. Quiet and nestled in the woods. We pulled up and had 3 visitors greet us. Host was great to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here!! If we come back to South Dakota again we will definitely be staying here again!!

Stayed Jul 20, 2025We had a wonderful time. Aaron was very helpful when we needed anything. This space was very clean and nice to stay in, offered everything that we needed, including mini fridge, electric stove, and microwave! For book readers, there is also a picnic table next to Cabin B, which was nice in the mornings and evenings! It's close to Custer and right next to Crazy Horse monument. Great location, and hosts are right next door if you need anything!

Stayed Jul 2, 2025My daughter and I traveled there for the 4th of July. We were close to a lot of great sites like Needles Hwy, Custer State Park, and, of course, Mt. Rushmore. We even traveled to Deadwood and Devils Tower in Wyoming.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025This cabin was PERFECT for our trip to South Dakota. We are a retired couple traveling with two small dogs. The cabin had a nice grassy area for the dogs just steps from the door. No stairs to climb. Parking right next to cabin. The location was perfect for all the places on our list to visit. We loved staying in the cabin away from the busy touristy hotels/motels. The area was beautiful and quiet. The hosts for this property were the best! I have added a few pictures of places we visited during our stay here.

Stayed Jul 1, 2024Highly recommend this place. Only in an excellent location, very friendly property and helpful. We did have our two small dogs with us and it was great because we could let them out off leash or they could run a little bit. Very clean amenities were appropriate for our needs. Highly recommend.
