Stayed Dec 15, 2024We just got back home and we loved our time at the cabin. The cabin had Christmas decorations and I loved it! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Stayed Nov 24, 2023My family and I have stayed in cabins in this area - Bear Creek Crossings for years and have never had the issues that we had with this cabin/company. When we arrived I sent pictures to show the company that the shower liners and shower curtains were completely stained and covered with disgusting black mold. I was told that they were sorry for the inconvenience and the the liners would be replaced the next day. I asked if they could have staff leave the liners on the porch and they said they would have staff informed to do that. Staff did not get informed and did enter the cabin when we were not there and replaced a brand new liner that I had gone out that night and bought myself so that I could shower. Both bathrooms smelled horrible, not from the mold, but from septic issues - when we arrived to the cabin, windows were open and then I realized why - to air out the cabin. When we were leaving the cabin, a secondary company was waiting outside to work on sanitation issues and said that they were in fact told of sanitation issues (the company we rented from did not inform us of any known sanitation issues going on - even though both bathrooms smelled horrible). To spend this amount of money and stay in a cabin that has not maintained basic sanitary and cleanliness issues is disappointing to say the least - I did let the company know that I was very disappointed in this and had zero response to my last message. They did not even address the smell or sanitation issue.

Stayed Sep 12, 2021The cabin and location was a great fit for our group of four. The cabin was far enough away from the busyness of the strip, yet close enough to all activities. The cabin was as presented, very clean, and well furnished. The loft provided several fun activities. One suggest is that sand be provided for the shuffle board game as the pucks would not slide on the board. A few observations about the cabin. The bedrooms are dark and don't have fans. The mattresses were of good quality, but a little hard. The downsides, which are beyond the owners control, are that the cabins are very close together and noise/parking can be a problem. On our last night there was a large group of young people who rented the cabins on both sides of ours. The noise was an issue as they came and went all through out the night. They also parked in front of our cabin. All that said, this is a 5 star cabin and we enjoyed our time at Bear Hug Cabin.
