Stayed Jul 10, 2025Absolutely LOVE this cabin, location in the gated community and quiet. Cabin has everything you need, including a nicely stocked kitchen with spices and all you need to make meals. We got to see bears every day - a momma and her 2 cubs! Great cabin for a couple of couples and small children. This is our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be back!

Stayed Jan 1, 2025Our stay at Goodness Gracious was excellent! We will booking here again. We had to call on New Year’s Day about our hot tub not heating and the fire pit needing propane replaced. We called late at night and they walked us through troubleshooting the hot tub and sent someone next morning to replace propane for the fire pit. This was a great stay for our family! Beautiful scenery as well! Highly recommend.

Stayed Nov 24, 2024Such a fun trip! The cabin is beautiful and has one of the best views in the fall! The hot tub was perfect after a long day down the mountain! This cabin had everything we needed for the week! We even encountered a bear 2 days in a row, in the neighboring yard then ours the next night, it was really neat. The drive up is not for the faint of heart it is steep and curvy but with a little trust in yourself it is easily done! Our family would stay at this lovely location over and over again!

Stayed Jul 20, 2024The cabin was BEAUTIFUL! The beds were comfortable. I loved the color changing fireplaces. The view was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub each night. We saw bears several times. We decided to make all food inside so the bears wouldn’t be drawn in by the grill. They were neat to see though.Loved the master shower also. Some days we hiked and some days we went to attractions. Since our family is bird lovers we really enjoyed Parrot Mountain. We used the community pool, played tennis and bags. We had such a great trip! So glad we stayed there!

Stayed Jul 13, 2024Beautiful cabin, wonderful location in Shagbark. Would highly recommend. Secluded, quiet. Comfortable for 2 couples (3rd bedroom = bunk beds). Clean - cleaners used heavy bleach in locations which we had to wipe down. Decently stocked kitchen, but no basic spices (salt/pepper) and no way to bake items (no baking pans or dishes) - just be sure to bring with you. Starter TP, Paper towels and dishwasher - but if staying more than 3 days, need a supply. Not an issue with any of the above, just need to know. We loved the location & solitude. Got to see bears 3 days of our week long visit. Nice grill & fire pit. Adequate propane. Everything is electronic - thermostats, etc. Would be nice if there were some additional instructions. Down & upstairs thermostats (Google nest) both different - had to look up how to use on the internet. Could never get the dot or arcade games to actually work. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024This cabin is very cozy and comfortable. The amenities are very nice. We enjoyed playing games, esp laser tag & cornhole. We also enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. This was a girls getaway for me and my 3 teen daughters. The cabin size was perfect for us. The roads are very steep, as expected, and the location was perfect for a day out at The Island at Pigeon Forge. We loved our time here.

Stayed Nov 15, 2023This was a very nice cabin with beautiful views! The roads are very narrow and steep making your way up from to guard gate to the cabin though. Keep this in mind if you struggle with heights... just a heads up for those like me! The cabin itself is very nice and not cluttered. If we were the hosts of the unit, here are some changes we would make: have more towels available, more table/floor lamps so you are not having to rely on the bright can lights in ceiling, upgrade all cooking utensils to a better quality product, have drinking glasses instead of plastic cups. Provide the basics like coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc. Consider labeling the light switches. Do not misunderstand me - the cabin is wonderful... these are just suggestions to make it more pleasant for the higher cost spent per night. Sunrise from the master bedroom upstairs was the best!!!

Stayed Oct 20, 2023With the exception of the cabin not being clean when we arrived after the stated check in time and the ants in the kitchen, it was great. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and has a great view of the mountains.

Stayed Jul 15, 2023We enjoyed our stay and it was a very nice cabin. We especially appreciated the baby gate and pack and play saving us the room of bringing it. If you are like me and are wanting to know what kind of roads you have to drive to get to the cabin, there are definitely steep winding roads and we were always thankful to get there! Also, if you are looking for a cabin with a bear encounter, we had a few! But overall it has a great view and is a beautiful cabin!
