Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the cabin’s striking exterior, large circular driveway, and private wooded haven unique to Good Karma. As they explore each of the cabin's three levels, guests are enamored by all this spectacular home has to offer.
As guests enter the main level of the cabin, they are first met by a great room and dining room, both of which feature bright, modern artwork, vaulted ceilings, and a huge window wall that allows guests to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature at all times. The exquisite cook’s kitchen includes a large island, stainless steel electric range, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher, and cabinets fully stocked with a wide range of cooking tools and appliances. The granite countertop seating area serves as a breakfast bar with seating for four, and the elegant granite dining table is the ideal space for family entertainment with seating for eight. The living area is furnished with a gorgeous stone fireplace, a 65-inch mounted TV, and cozy couches to seat the entire family.
Adjacent to the kitchen are the mudroom and laundry room (with GE front load washer & dryer), alongside a half bathroom. Through the mudroom door, guests enter the tranquil back patio area to find ample seating for al fresco meals, relaxing Adirondack chairs, a barbecue (with side burner and searing feature), and a hot tub (attached to patio for easy access; seats eight adults) all overlooking the stunning natural escape of aspen and pine trees, showered by endless stars. Just downstairs and towards the back of the property, guests also have access to a private outdoor entertainment space and seating area with a Breo smokeless (less smoke) firepit.
From spring through early winter, lucky guests will encounter the friendly wildlife who share the Good Karma property. Regular visitors include deer, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, bluejays, and turkeys.
Heading back inside on the main level, the hallway adjacent to the kitchen leads to the master bedroom with a king bed, a 60-inch TV, and private access to the front portion of the balcony. The elegant ensuite bathroom provides guests with a luxurious spa experience, with a gorgeous glass shower, separate vanities, and tile throughout.
On the upper level of the cabin, there are two large bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and a 60-inch TV. Across the hall is the second bedroom with a bunk bed (twin XL mattress above a queen mattress), which comfortably sleeps three people. Each bedroom has its own closet with expansive drawers, organizers, and hanging spaces. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom, featuring a glass shower with a bathtub and a large vanity with spacious storage drawers. Additionally, there is an upstairs office space with an adjustable desk (standing and sitting options) and monitor overlooking the great room.
The lower level of the cabin features a cozy game room with foosball table and a massive 85- inch TV, comfortable leather couches, a wet bar (kitchen sink, wine fridge, microwave, and cabinets), a full bathroom, and a door that leads to the downstairs patio area. On this same level, guests are also invited to enjoy an impressive in-home gym, which comes equipped with a NordicTrack (includes iFit subscription and complete access to interactive personal training technology and virtual hikes/runs all over the world), a 60-inch TV, a full set of dumbbells, an adjustable weight bench, medicine balls, a pull-up bar, an ab rack, and a fully padded floor for yoga and stretching.

Watch the weather DO NOT TRAVEL IN WINTER STORMS. Do this BEFORE YOU GO:
1. Download Utah's UDot app to view live road conditions with their weather cams. Select "layers" and then select "Snow plows" and "lane or road closures" You may zoom into Hwy 14 and view the live cameras.
2. Use Wunderground's website for weather zip code 84762
3. We are NOT responsible for getting you on or off the mountain or in and out of the cabin. Please take winter precautions seriously.
ONCE THE SNOW ARRIVES.....
In the WINTER Highway 14 may or may not have snow on it. The county plows do not plow at night and they start as early as possible to clear roads in the mornings. Once you arrive to the Village the drive to the cabin is on snow covered gravel roads. These roads are plowed but snowy roads may often be slippery in freezing conditions or covered with some inches of fresh snow. There may not be cell service from your provider in our area so please come prepared. You will ascend 8500 ft. Winter weather may vary on your journey.
4x4 or AWD is REQUIRED during winter months and we always suggest carrying chains. * If you feel you need chains put them on BEFORE ATTEMPTING the hills, put them on in a safe, flat, out of the way area. DO NOT BLOCK ROADS especially Movie Ranch / Meadow Ranch (it is a hill once past the church) as it is the only access to the community. Do not ask if your 2 wheel drive can make it the answer is NO.
SNOW REMOVAL: If it snows during your stay, your driveway will be blown out if there are 6" or more. The plow may only blow up to where your car is parked. Snow removal on your deck, to and around your car is your responsibility. There will be a shovel on the deck of the cabin. We are in line for snow plow AFTER the main roads, residents, and elders.
POWER OUTAGES: Power outages are rare but do happen. In the event of a power outage, please wait up to 3 hours as we rarely have power out longer than that. If you are concerned about the cabin not being warm enough during brief outages, please contact management for assistance.
Towing: (if a local guy with a machine might be available- most likely not)
$100 minimum *maybe more $ after dark. note: May NOT be available at all.
Please keep in mind if you arrive after dark on the Mt. most everything may be closed. Please plan ahead. This is a tiny village community without many winter amenities.
This info is not to discourage your winter adventure but to keep you informed so that you can make the best of your vacation. Please call us anytime to discuss your trip ahead of time so that we can make sure its most enjoyable!
