Stayed Apr 4, 2025Everything was very comfortable with one complaint. Mid-morning Saturday, drinking coffee on the deck, enjoying nature, the maintenance man cranked up his gas powered leaf blower and completely ruined the morning serenity. I know they have work to do but try to schedule it at other times.

Stayed Jul 16, 2023We enjoyed our stay in spite of the little details that we encountered. The kitchen utensils were dirty, the light under the microwave was not working making it difficult to see the top of the stove, the stopper for the bathroom sink was missing, the faucet on the tub was very loose and looked like it was going to come off when you pulled up the shower tab and the blinds in the dining area looked like a mad dog chewed it for a good while. Also, we booked this cabin because of it having a king sized bed. But that king bed was on the 2nd floor and the bathroom was on the first floor and there was the spiral staircase to maneuver in the dark should we need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The king bed would fit just fine in the downstairs bedroom. These are little things that show the owner doesn't really look at the details. The fixes wouldn't cost more than $100-150.

Stayed Apr 1, 2023Cabin was a great for our family, location was by far the best part. It was beautiful! Communication from property owner was slim to none unless initiated by us but that’s okay. Let us firewood one of the evenings which was thoughtful.

Stayed Mar 13, 2023I have a hard time thinking 6 people could stay in this small cabin without issues. The one bathroom's access is in the one bedroom, so everyone has to walk through the bedroom to use the pot or the shower, especially at night! Poor people sleeping in that bedroom. They advertise a washer/dryer but there is NOT one. The kitchen needs help. Three coffee pots, but no cutting board? Only one kitchen towel and no wash rag. A nasty sponge under the sink, etc. The owner needs to spend a couple of nights there with 5 friends to better understand the situation. Could use a table and chairs on the deck for those 6 people. Like I said in the title, It has potential with a little TLC.

Stayed Oct 14, 2022We enjoyed the peaceful mountain getaway. A great area to walk and enjoy the scenery. The front porch at Golfers Retreat was a favorite spot for us to enjoy morning coffee and an afternoon rain. A great location not far from local restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped for light cooking. It met our expectations and we enjoyed our week.

Stayed Sep 17, 2022My husband and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary here. This is a beautiful location with some wonderful views. The cabin was just as it looked on the website. It was clean, very cozy and decorated so cute. We had a great experience with this property and would definitely return!
