Come, sit, and relax on the porch of one of our newly built cabins. Take in the fresh air and enjoy the countryside views, wildlife, farm animals, and breathtaking sunsets. Our four cabins, Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace, each feature their own rustic/elegant style and charm. All the cabins sleep two on a king sized bed with luxurious sheets and bedding, while the bathrooms each feature a large shower and copper sink.

The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and microwave oven along with a full size coffee maker with teas and other goodies.

We have a beautiful gazebo outside in the common area with a charcoal grill and a large table to gather around and enjoy the country life. Don't forget to bring charcoal and something to grill!

Our cabin, Hope, has an outdoor shower to enjoy along with a private deck with lounge chairs in the back to sit and relax. The stars are amazing at night from this deck view. THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR HOPE GUESTS!

We are out in the country but only 6 miles from Fredericksburg where you can walk down Main Street, shop, eat wonderful food, check out the wineries, or even learn a bit of history at the Admiral Nimitz museum. Marktplatz on Main St. is where most of Fredericksburg's sought-after events take place.

Our goal is to make your stay here with us the most amazing and memorable experience possible. We hope you will begin planning your next stay with us even before you leave. Just let us know if you have any questions or needs. We hope you enjoy your stay with us at God's Country Cabins.

Be Blessed

Booked this Cabin for my 10 year anniversary and it did not disappoint! Cabin was easy to find and extremely quiet and relaxing. If you like to be away from town but still close, would highly recommend staying here your next trip to Fredericksburg!

We had an amazing stay at God’s Country Cabins! The cabins are brand new and beautiful. Very clean and refreshing. The smell of all the wood mixed with our brewing coffee in the morning was wonderful. Our stay was exactly what we needed - a reconnect with nature and a break from the news and social media. Lots of wildlife spotted. An easy 5 minute drive from both Augusta Vin and Slate Hill wineries. Close to Fredericksburg. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Weekend started off rough! After traveling nearly 5 hours for a much needed weekend, my husband and I arrived (approximately 1 hour after check in time) to a dirty cabin. Our plans were to rest for a bit after traveling, shower and clean up before going out to eat for the evening. However, we walked in to a smell from trash that had not been emptied, a bed where the covers had been pulled up from the previous guest, wet towels hanging, wash cloths draped in the shower and a wet bath mat. I tried to call a couple of times but couldn't get anyone to answer. Tried the after hours / holiday phone number and left a message. Since the property is out of town, we decided to head into town to see if we could find anyone at the rental office. About a mile out of town, I did get a call back but the call dropped before I got a chance to finish talking to them. Called back and call dropped again. Made it to the office but it was closed. Tried one more time to call, and was told they were sending someone to clean our cabin. Not the way we wanted to spend the 1st night of our 2 night stay. Since we were already in town, we decided to find a place to sit / relax and order an early supper while we waited for our cabin to be cleaned.

Our cabin was great! Clean, had everything we needed. We loved the location-it felt secluded and private (although there are 3 other cabins), yet it was easy to get into town. My only complaint was that the walls in the bathroom do not go all the way up to the ceiling. However, this would not prevent us from staying here again. All in all, we were very satisfied!

We loved it! Very peaceful, comfortable and yet close to town. The perfect complement to the rest of our trip, in which we stayed in the hustle and bustle of the cities.

The only thing missing was a stove. I failed to check that when I booked and assumed there would be one. There is a gazebo outside. A common area for grilling, but nothing to be able to keep to yourself than a microwave. Still it is a very peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

We had a great time at the property. Very clean and easy access. Check-in was ok, it would be more convenient if we didn't have to go to an office to pick up the key. Other properties we have rented had a lock box on property. The property it self was awesome, quiet and very clean. The common area was great with the grill, table and chairs. We will be back.

Sixth stay here. Consistent quality, quiet, excellent service, and convenient to town while providing that “in the country” feel.

We recently stayed in Mercy cabin and had a wonderful time !! The only thing we thought might have made it a tad better was a fan or something in the main room. We enjoyed hanging out but it got super warm !' Other than that it was AMAZING. !!
