Glen View Retreat- Spa/Fireplaces/ Ping Pong Table!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good is that the property is very nicely done with all of the amenities you'd need. The three bedrooms are pretty identical so no one gets a kids room. Took a while to realize that the dining room table doubles as a ping pong table, had hours of fun playing. The disappointing part is that the fireplaces are just electric with projections, not real, kinda cartoonish, miss having a real fire especially since it was cold.The property management office standards are not the same anymore. The office is always closed, confusion over how to get the keys. Was told I was a VIP since I've used this service repeatedly but got nothing in return this time and questions when renting were never addressed in a return email.

Not all bad. The agency that runs it made an effort to respond to and address issues, and the upstairs living/kitchen area has recently been redone, which is modern and comfortable. Great lighting. Overall cleanliness was less than desirable—dirty rugs all-around as well as the carpet on stairs. Stained dining room table cover. When removed, the table underneath needed to be cleaned as well. Trash and old blinds behind the bookshelves. Bring your own coffee. And sugar. And salt. And pretty much ANY staple you might need if you plan to use the kitchen. Did I mention the industrial grade single-ply toilet paper?Requested early check-in. Got late check-in instead. Creative photography. Place is smaller than it looks. Would hire the photographer though.

The house is spotless and incredibly well-maintained, with a modern touch that sets it apart from your typical log cabin. The interior was immaculate, the beds were super comfortable, and we loved the fact that every room had its own AC/Heater and a TV—perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The hot tub was a highlight, especially with the cool nights and the amazing view of the sunset. It was located in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes from town, making it the perfect spot to unwind.

Plenty of space in the upstairs great room with huge, well-equipped kitchen and plenty of seating and eating and hanging out space. Bedrooms downstairs are comfy but small. Lots of deck space and hot tub. Great location for getting downtown or to hiking.

We had a wonderful weekend with just really a terrific set up at this property. Enjoyed the living room and open concept set up gorgeous views, and the bedrooms were well appointed.

Really nice vacation house in Idyllwild. I loved that it had more modern amenities than your typical log cabin. Hot tub was really nice on the cool nights and the ability to heat each room independently was appreciated. The management company was very helpful and responsive. I'd definitely stay here again!

All new televisions in every room. Everything worked great. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, and only takes a few minutes to get into town. We enjoyed having breakfast on the deck and hanging out in the hot tub. Spirit vacation homes was great to work with-- check-in and out were very easy, and the staff was friendly and had great recommendations for things to do around town. Your kids will want to meet mayor Max, and if you bring your furry friend, they can get deputized!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Glen View Retreat and would be more than happy to stay again! Open floor plan makes for a very enjoyable stay. If you need a little peace and quiet surrounded by beauty…this is your place. Kitchen was well stocked. Living area comfy. Beds are large and cozy. Three decks to enjoy the views. Loved having a hot tub to relax after wonderful, long hikes. Close to town with restaurants and grocery store. Would absolutely stay here again.
