The old style of the cabin was beautiful. The fire pit was comfortable and easy to use. Where it located in a wooded area my kids got to see deer right outside the windows which excited them. I would recommend the place to anyone that would like peace and quite time rather it with family or friends!

Dwayne sent a welcome as soon as weArrived. We had several questions through our stay and Dwayne answered all our questions quickly. We had wonderful weather and were able to enjoy the fire pit and the s’mores that was left of us.

We loved everything about this property. The whole process was extremely easy. The cabin was decorated very nice. The furniture was really comfortable. The kitchen is huge and everything needed was provided.

Cabin has rustic charm with modern conveniences. Very spacious with lots of places to go to relax on your own or connect with family/friends to chat or play board games. Front porch was great for viewing a variety of birds and many deer. The loop was nicely shaded by surrounding trees keeping us cool even on 90 degree days.

I came to my Moore family reunion in Glasgow and to get away, we have a stressful life. Cabin was awesome, the nature awesome. Didn't find the wifi password, but spent time on the front porch waving at neighbors. Would come again

This is a very nicely restored and updated Kentucky cabin, located in a nice location near a large lake and Mammoth Cave NP. We especially enjoyed the great room and fireplace, which was an excellent setting for our family to gather and enjoy each other's company. The host was excellent, responsive, and great to work with.

The wooded setting and privacy was amazing. There is one close neighbor but no problems. The scenery was beautiful even though it’s soon to be winter. The old style oven had me a little nervous for Thanksgiving dinner but we made it work. Only one thing we noticed missing was a can opener. Everything was very clean. The cabin was very cool!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! I love history, and I was blown away by the accuracy of the story that surrounds it (I'm not going to give anything away. You'll see when you arrive. LOL). The owner was very easy to communicate with, and the neighborhood is lovely. My son really enjoyed fishing off the nearby docks. The neighbors are friendly, and you're about a 20 minute drive to Horse Cave, where there are so many special things to do. I would recommend bringing any butter, baggies, seasonings, etc. that you would need for the kitchen. They provided a fabulous s'mores bar, which was nice.

My husband, teenage daughter, and I had a really relaxing extended weekend at this fully renovated and modernized cabin. We had plenty of room inside, and took advantage of sprawling out. The foosball table in the upstairs lounge area was a blast! In the evening, we thoroughly enjoyed the bonfire area making s’mores under twinkle lights too. We sat on the porch in the morning. My husband enjoyed all of the different bird calls and trying to find them in the trees. I really liked watching the 2 doe and 4 fawns that were in the yards beside us throughout the day. The cabin is a short distance to the attractions we wanted to visit: Mammoth Cave, gem shops, fruit orchard, good dining. It was quaint to pass a few Amish buggies on the roads near the cabin. It was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and comfortable. Dwayne, the owner, was friendly and very accommodating.

We decided on this cabin for a long weekend away. It was just like the pictures. We enjoyed the weekend with cavern tours and a few campfires.
