Darling and super cozy off-the-grid glamping cabin, perfect for creating special memories for you and your besties! Experience environmentally friendly, eco-conscious and sustainable vacationing in this stunning location. Unbelievable views of the San Francisco Peaks, gorgeous glistening aspen groves, graceful pine trees, wildlife sightings, and good old fashioned eco therapy will soothe your soul and ease away your tension. Close to the Grand Canyon! Just 1/2 mile off the Arizona Trail! Hike6 miles to Snowbowl! Beautiful aspen forests abound!

This darling camper cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed (2 guests), and has two pull out couches for up to four additional guests. The well stocked kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you’ll need for cooking, including a propane cooktop and oven, as well as a cooler for your use (bring ice). A gas barbecue is on site as well. The wood stove kicks out a ton of heat to keep you toasty while you sip on steamy hot chocolate. During summer months the use of the woodstove may be restricted in accordance to Forest Service mandated fire restrictions. Gather around the gas operated fire pit in the backyard for some R&R. Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! The property backs on the National Forest for limitless recreation opportunities. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day.

The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. We have a new underground water storage tank with a frost free hand pump, which will provide all the water you will need for your stay. We have built a little rustic outdoor shower, which you are welcome to use. There is a shower bag for your use (as long as the wind hasn't blown it to Snowbowl), however you may prefer to bring your own. We recently installed a solar powered lighting system and cell phone charging capability. There are no regular power outlets. Cell service is available in the area depending upon your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor.

Check out the cute hanging trampoline teepee tent! It’s so fun! As with any swing or hanging device there’s inherent risks, enjoy at your own risk. But yes, bring a sleeping bag along and you can sleep in it. It’s super duper comfortable!! The teepee tent is down during the winter months.

The cabin is located at 8200’ in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, hike or bike, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by.

If that’s not enough check this out:

a) it’s just 5 miles to the Arizona Nordic Center for incredible cross country ski trails
b) it's just 18 miles to Snowbowl for chairlift rides or world class downhill skiing
c) it's just 20 miles to the hip town of Flagstaff for fantastic restaurants, golfing, shopping, coffee shops and museums
d) it's just 60 miles to historic Williams with the Bearizona wildlife park and the popular Grand Canyon Railway
d) it's just 60 miles to the world famous Grand Canyon. This is one of the closest available private rental cabins to the Grand Canyon
e) it’s just 50 miles to gorgeous Sedona, making it a perfect day trip!
f) and last but not least, it’s right next to the Kendrick Snowmobile Trails, which offer 54 miles of unbeatable snowmobile adventures!

The property is located approximately 2.1 miles off the main highway down a forest service road. The road is in excellent shape during the summer months. During winter you MUST have a 4WD vehicle to access the property, particularly if there has been a significant snowfall recently. During a snowy period, access may require either cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling to the property from the main highway (approx 2.1 miles). If you get stuck on the road it will be your own responsibility. Please check with the owner a couple days prior to your visit to check on road conditions during the winter.

We stayed at this cabin in mid-June with our teenage kids and 2 dogs. It was so great, we can’t wait to go back! The cabin had everything we needed. 2 futons for the kids and a very comfortable bed for hubby and I. A very clean outhouse. A nice shower. Lights. Water pump. Everything needed for camping with a lot of extra comforts. The cabin itself is nicely decorated with thoughtful extras throughout. There are pots and pans for cooking, books and games, and the coolest swing on which to watch the millions of stars. I barely remembered to snap a pic at the end because we were all actually unplugged the whole time. Yes, my teenagers ignored their phones for two whole days! It was so fun and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Everything was exactly as described. But this place is more magical than imaginable. Everything about our stay was amazing! It was the perfect place to stay on a snowy Easter weekend! We can't wait to go back again!

Always a joy to spend time at the Glamper Cabin! It’s never long enough, but restorative all the same.

My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay in your cozy cabin. It had everything we needed. The glamping experience was lovely, especially the wood-burning stove. The composting toilet outhouse was even cute! We definitely plan to come back next fall and celebrate our anniversary again at your place. Thanks for sharing your little gem with us.

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin. We selected it as a launch point for a number of day trips around Northern Arizona and found it very convenient. Our communications with the host were pleasant, and we had everything we needed for a rustic adventure. We also lucked out with perfect fall weather and many deer sightings!

Loved this place. We saw many deer and the mist awesome sight - a hawk with a fish in its claws! Unfortunately we weren't equipped for the outhouse part!

Wonderful stay at the aspens near Flagstaff. We had come for a Grand Canyon hike and the Glamper Cabin was an excellent staging place to stay. Loved coffee in the porch swings in the morning and my son loved the teepee tent/swing.
