The cabin was nicely furnished. It was nice to go hiking around Mt. Baker and melt away the aches in the hot tub. My teenagers especially liked the WIFI! Thank you!
About a ten minute drive to the grocery store, beautiful trail at the end of the residential road, very peaceful and relaxing for a weekend away! The only issue we had was with the hot tub cover, it broke in half (essentially) and if I didn’t have my partner to help me, it could’ve been dangerous to move it off/on alone. Maintenance was out first thing the next morning and helped with a quick fix, but getting a new cover all together would be ideal! I would definitely come back and stay here again :)
We had a lovely stay. The layout of the house felt open and roomy. Hot tub was big too!
We absolutely loved our stay here! The home was perfectly clean, with a fully stocked kitchen and a clean and heated hot tub. The house is actually much bigger than the pictures show. Located halfway between Maple Falls and Glacier, it was a perfect location to reach either town amenities quickly. A quick trip up hill to the trails and ski area too.
The cabin has everything we needed! Including pack n plays and toddler potty seat for the bathroom. The hot tub was very nice and the living space was perfect for our family hangout.
The house was in a great location, quiet and close to a beautiful stream. The house was nice, hot tub was great.
This property's location was easy to find, and the amenities were great. We all really enjoyed the use of the hot tub, movies and games provided. The interior could have been a little cleaner (mainly dog hair on furniture, maybe should have been vacuumed) and some of the dishes needed to be washed before using them, but that doesn't necessarily fall on the property managers or cleaning staff as occupants are expected to clean up after themselves prior to leaving the property. Everything else was wonderful and met or exceeded our expectations. My advice for future guests, if you have elderly members of your party, use the extra pillows/blankets provided (or bring your own) for additional padding on the furniture. There isn't any comfy well padded furniture for relaxing. That would be our only suggestion for improvement. The cabin was very accommodating, very cute decor, and everything provided that was needed. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
The property was clean and was perfect for our weekend getaway!
Overall, we had a fun time at this property. It was a clean and right size unit for 2 families with kids, has all the utensils you need. The location is nice and right next door to Mt.Baker! Few things I'd consider for improvement are 1] Lack of dishwasher - This seems like a downside to this nice unit. Please consider upgrading the unit with a dishwasher. 2] Gas Grill replacement - Gas grill was very dirty and old. Please consider replacing the grill with something nicer and basic. It did the work, but at first sight I found the gas grill a bit odd and had to do some cleaning. Other than that, we had a fun-time. The creek next door is a nice, small trail for families!
My brother, mom, partner, and I stayed 3 nights and 4 days. From the listing it appeared to have exactly what we were looking for, a place where we can cook, 30 minute drive to Mt Baker Ski Area, bedrooms for a 4 of us to comfortably sleep in, a hot tub, and a big dining table for boardgame activities. The cabin/property was extremely well equipped for our snowboarding needs. There was a 4-slot bootwarmer. There were a lot of recliners/sofa chairs to lounge in, etc. The people who help manage this property are super quick to respond and help out pre-trip and during the stay as well. I have T-Mobile and had enough reception to make calls and check emails. The internet, despite the property managers saying it was going to be spotty we never had an issue. We brought up a chromecast with us and were able to watch Netflix and other entertainment. Check in and check out process was pretty straightforward and had no issues. If anything, the key to the property was a little complicated but if you push in the key well enough it will turn the lock. Felt like the could have provided us with more/better paper towels for the dishware. We brought our own pots and pans because we weren't sure what the kitchen was going to be equipped with. There's a lot of utencils, dishware, etc, but I will say bringing your own pans and pots might be a good idea as their pans are pretty scratched up. Heating was great although the one room with the twin beds does not have a heater/furnace. There was a portable heater though which did the job. Lastly, while our primary trip was for snowboarding my mom stayed back in the cabin and had a great time. There's a trail nearby so it seems like there's a lot of outdoor closeby activities to enjoy as well. Friendly tip, we bought all our groceries from home as there's not a huge grocery store nearby. (There's a small market about 5-7 minute drive away).
