Corvallis, Montana
Come stay at this secluded ranch cabin in the Bitterroot Valley.
Walk out the door and start hiking in the shade of towering Ponderosa pines on the 1,375 acres of private, unspoiled mountain terrain. Or arrange a guided horseback tour of the ranch.
Fish for native cutthroat and brook trout steps away in the pristine, snow-fed Willow Creek. Or fall asleep listening to the sounds of it rushing by.
Relax under the pergola on the expansive, wrap-around porch, sipping your favorite beverage in the Adirondack chairs, watching the sun set behind the Bitterroot Range.
Drink your morning coffee in front of the cozy, gas fireplace.
All this awaits you at the Robinson Ranch Cabin.
The 800-square-foot cabin features two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, as well as a spacious loft that sleeps two.
A full kitchen, dining area and comfortable living room under a vaulted 16-foot ceiling complete the interior.
Grill your favorite meal on the big gas barbecue on the back porch, all while watching Willow Creek tumble by.
Slow speed wifi available with limited connectivity.
If you’d like to venture farther afield, use the cabin as a base to explore the Bitterroot Valley.
Pristine mountain lakes are within a short drive and hike in the hundreds of thousands of acres of national forest up Willow Creek Road to the east.
High-mountain hiking opportunities abound in the Bitterroot Range on the west side of the valley.
Or arrange a guided fly-fishing float on the Bitterroot River, one of Montana’s best trout streams.
Tour the quaint town of Hamilton, with its local shops, artwork and one-of-a-kind eateries. Or treat yourself to a frosty beverage at one of the craft breweries in town.
If you come in the winter, you can hit the slopes at Lost Trail or sled or snowshoe near the cabin.
In short, come enjoy the Montana mountains, in the mountains.
We look forward to having you.
We had a wonderful stay in this clean cabin tucked away in the foothills. Many little kitchen items tucked away in the cupboards that I even made a loaf of banana bread with my leftover bananas. Each drive to Hamilton and many hiking places nearby.
We loved spending the weekend there. It was very clean and relaxing.
This property provided an excellent waypoint for us on our way to Glacier. Stream was clear and cold for a quick dip. Stars were amazing from the front porch. AC kept this place cool during a July hot streak.
This was our third time staying here. We love coming here to relax and enjoy the wonderful nature that this place has.
Wonderful place and area! We stayed here a month ago as well! Very enjoyable. Love this part of the country! Will stay again!
Beautiful location..so peaceful..fantadtic view .we had no issues whatsoever
Super nice quant vacation cabin located in a beautiful mountain valley! Great access to recreational activities such as hiking, sightseeing and photography! Love this area of the country! Thanks again
Your home was an incredible off-the-beaten path experience. We loved the view and enjoyed sitting on the deck. Waking up to horses grazing was a definite bonus. Our family joined us for a couple of meals. We had everything we needed to cook and entertain them. Our stay was everything we wanted and more. We hope to join you again soon.
We were in Hamilton for my sister-in-laws memorial service. Staying at the cabin during this stressful time was so soothing. We were comfortable, loved the sound of the creek, and the beauty of our surroundings. We were able to have a bbq at the cabin with family members from Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Ohio one of the evenings we were there. I will use this cabin again, if we are ever back in the Bitterroot Valley.
Robinson Ranch cabin is our favorite place to stay in the bitterroot valley. It is only a few short minutes away from everywhere we want to go, yet it is secluded, private, and nestled in the heart of the valley. The ranch and the drive out to it are lovely, and waking up to the sound of the stream in summer or watching the snow fall in winter is the perfect getaway. When you drive back into town, you crest a hill that gives a gorgeous panorama of the mountains. We love it. We stay here any time we can. The cabin is comfortable all year round, and the owners are always available if you need any thing.
Very pleased with our stay at this cabin. Will definitely be coming back again!
Fabulous place would definitely recommend it to others. Everything about the property was great.
The family and I had a great time at the cabin! I wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area. We were in Montana for a wedding; so the stay was short. Having the cabin to go back to after the hustle of the wedding and all the people was very relaxing and needed. We definitely will be recommending this cabin and coming back in the future!
What a great cabin in the mountains! We only stayed for a couple days because we had a wedding in the near by town. To really get the most for the experience, you need to save some time to hike and enjoy the outdoors! (The owners offer to take you hiking and horse back riding.) We were thankful for the heater instructions. (It got down to freezing the first night we were there.) We really enjoyed the beauty of the area!
We had a terrific experience in the cabin and an equally terrific time in the mountains that surround the cabin.... Hiked up to the summit of Palisade Mtn at 8460' with the entire family. Great views over the smoke from forest fires.. Biked through much of Cale wildlife refuge with lots of single track, and we enjoyed the town of Hamilton as well. Arrived back to the cabin each night for rest and family fun in this nicely equiped VRBO. We are planning another hike from the south side of Palisades Mtn down to MT route 38. I highly recommend this VRBO.
Great stay, quiet, peaceful, fabulous deck, spotless, soothing sound of the creek at night, well kept grounds, well appointed kitchen, a place to unwind away from it all!
This property is off the beaten path a little bit, but still has everything we were looking for. The host was great and the trip was fabulous. Hopefully we can stay again next year!
Nice & quiet place, cool mornings that promote lingering longer than planned. A great summer rental.
We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat. Peaceful location and well stocked cabin. Hope to return again!
As advertised, we'll equipped, good location out of town, and beaten path. Pictures are spot on. Good stay, recommended!
This was our second stay at this property and we would do it again. Beautiful setting, roomy cabin, far enough out of town but only 15 minutes away from Corvallis and 22 minutes away from Hamilton. Seeing the horses is a nice extra touch. Great property.
It was very quiet and peaceful. There is a very nice wraparound porch with chairs to take in the scenery. It's spring time up here now, and Willow Creek made a wonderful background noise.
This property was just what we needed to relax and rest up with our dogs after a day of playing agility. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The yard was fenced mainly to keep stock out but worked to let my larger dogs off leash while supervised (a big plus for me). (Smaller, younger dogs could easily escape in a couple of places.) The beautiful setting made the drive worth it!
The drive up is breath taking whitetail deer everywhere mule deer fox and much more i even seen a grizzly with cubs the veiw from the house is awesome and the horses were a bonus down the road there is a dead end we hiked up 2 hrs to the top and was breath taking one of favorite trips ever will aways go back if in the area
I am from the area and this place is out in it, yet close to all amenities of town! Lakes and trails with in minutes to hike of this location. Very clean and comfortable would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!!
This is a great place to stay and everything we needed was there. We had forgotten that it had no TV but that was ok. We aren't as young as we used to be so carrying laptops and such up to the loft where there was a comfy couch wasn't as easy as when we were 40! The scenery was gorgeous and if you are booking for just being at the cabin would be a perfect situation for this place. There are lots of close things to do. We spent the day at Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge which is fabulous! We had to buy insurance before booking which was a surprise. We have not been required to do that at any of the other VRBO places. It would have made us change to a different location if there had been others close to the refuge but the beauty of the area took our breath away so we booked regardless.
