Galena Cabin w/ Wraparound Porch & Game Room!

The house and location were gorgeous. We had a couple of hiccups and the Host was very responsive.

Was amazing! The view was great. The snow coming down (14in of snow during our stay) and watching all the deer come out in the field!!

The house is nice, the beds are comfortable, the seclusion and view are great. One star off for 2 reasons: 1. We found the rule of no shoes in the house and if we find out you've worn shoes in the house you may be fined to be pretty unwelcoming and extreme. 2. The cleanup rules and the housekeeping tip envelope left for us to use on top of the cleaning fee was a little tacky.

The cabin was just gorgeous and the view out the windows was perfect seeing the bluffs of Iowa on the other side of the river. We saw plenty of wildlife out the window as well. There were so many extra, thoughtful things around the house, beautiful beds with a tray and flowers, rustic wood beds with many assorted pillows, chocolates hidden under a welcome note, rocking chairs on the porch, a beautiful fire pit and a spectacular fireplace! The owner made us feel like we were staying in a warm and cozy home. This is the place you want to stay for sure.

We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful cabin. It is the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed in. Nestled back in the woods (yet so close to town) with an amazing view. The beds were very comfy and you had everything you could need. We cooked steaks on the grill and enjoyed the firepit at night. The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to e very detail. We will definitely be back!!

Property was amazing! You get what you see! My family enjoyed tons of laughs in a very comfortable cabin! The only downfall which had nothing to do with the property but with the location, there was only one port that took over 3 hours to charge my electric vehicle only to about 50% other than this my entire trip was so enjoyable!

We loved our stay this weekend! The cabin was ride down the road from the ski hill, and perfect setup for our family!! Beautifully decorated, rustic feel, clean and comfortable beds!! Fabulous communication!!

Everything as described. Mornings and late evenings we got to enjoy numerous deer from the living room window. Very well secluded yet it’s just a short 10 min drive into Galena.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and our stay. Bring slippers given the no shoe requirement.

The cabin was absolutely amazing! We had 7 people staying there and it was perfect. The views from the back patio were stunning. Host was very easy to contact to ask any questions. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing was the driveway was a little hard to see when first driving in.

The cabin is Beautiful and well kept The place is very peaceful with beautiful views We enjoy our stay almost 100% but……… The only thing that went wrong was when we attempted to use the gas grill we weren’t able to, it was beyond dirty, rusted and found mice inside the grill.

Exceptionally clean and private location.

It was a beautiful cabin but the GPS address does not take you to the right place , so it was alittle hard to find with a hidden entrance. No shoes are allowed in the cabin so bring slippers. The showers are huge but not enough towels so bring some if you have more than 2 people staying . Otherwise it was peaceful clean and definitely would love to stay again .
