Stayed Feb 6, 2026The cabin was very cozy and inviting. The fireplace and huge windows with views made us want to stay forever! A much needed relaxation from the hustle and bustle of life! Will definitely be coming back to this place!!

Stayed Nov 20, 2025A very strong review for this cabin. It is beautifully located. One issue that I have is our inability to have found it. Thankfully, the manager answered the phone within moments and let us on how to drive to the cabin. Perhaps an explanation in the email That confirms this day would be helpful on attempting to find the cabin did not take away from our stay as we felt completely supported with the phone call being answered.

Stayed Aug 26, 2025If you'd like a private, secluded location, this is the place for you. The 5 mile drive into downtown Galena is an enjoyable ride. The outside of the building is certainly nice but inside is very well done. The rustic wood walls, floors, ceilings, tables, bed frames have to be seen to be believed. Even the inside shower stall walls are natural wood covered with thick clear plexiglass to protect the wood as you view them continuing the wood theme throughout the building.Saw deer out the windows twice in 3 days and we were visited by 'Oscar' the Barred Owl who let us stand 20 to 40 feet away from him as he flew tree to tree hunting mice and voles, seemingly unbothered by our presence. Highly recommended.

Stayed Apr 25, 2025A lovely secluded cabin provided the perfect spot to relax. A short distance from Galena was a plus. One suggestion - provide more hanging hooks, drawers and/or wardrobe closet for clothes guests bring.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rustic modern cabin. The location was perfect with close access to downtown Galena but had an isolated feel tucked into the woods. The beds were very comfortable and the place smelled amazing! Would highly recommend for a couple or family of 4.

Stayed Dec 19, 2024This cabin is wonderful. Perfect location in the middle of the woods, yet only 10 minutes from everything Galena has to offer. It was such an enjoyable experience.
