Our refrigerator, Hot tub, and toilets all had issues and were not working. We did get a good response on our call for fixes, but the serviceman basically said it was the owner's issue and he couldn't do much. The porch screens were torn. There was no propane in the grill and it was filthy and not useable. We enjoyed the view, the firepit, and the living rooms. The stairs were so steep we had problems climbing up and down them. The basement was very cold and hard to heat. The entire place needs a facelift. There were huge spiders all over the porches we had to get down. I could not recommend this place to anyone unless the owner does upgrades especially to the refrigerator and hot tub. The bedfrooms were nice but I would not call this a 5 bedroom cabin because the basement had bunk beds only suited for children. The pictures on the ad did not represent all the problems. I did like the size of it. They left no extra blankets or quilts to use. Overall a pretty big disappointment.
Good time thanks to the people we were with there were multiple issues with the property. The appliances were outdated. The refrigerator didn’t get cold and the stove burners didn’t get hot. The wifi at the property wasn’t very strong and had trouble working with multiple devices connected. Two people so far are covered in bed bug bites. Overall, would not stay at this property again.
Loved this cabin!! Definitely would book it again!
The stay was nice overall however my wife and I stayed in the upper loft and by the end of our three day stay she had rashes all over her arms and head, which then revealed bite marks. We took her to the doctor and they confirmed bed bugs and gave her some steroids. Immediately contacted the property manager and they said they would not be refunding our stay or helping in any way and then stopped emailing.
Great view - nice large space for a large group - great cabin decor!
We had a group of 10 + a baby staying at the property - all professionals looking to see the fall foliage and get some much needed R&R. As you can imagine, this group is highly organized, we had spreadsheets created for food, times of arrival and departure, which means everything was planned. After reading and rereading all rules and what’s was included we decided a nice fire with s’mores and wine for night one. According to the listing, wood would be provided. Following arrival, we looked everywhere - by the fire pit, garage, next to the fire place. Nothing. Not a huge deal. Connected the property management and they told us no wood was to be provided. I then screen shot the the amenities list and they said there was no way for them to get us wood for the fire that night. Again, not a huge problem - we could go down to town a grab wood with hope delivery would be made the following day. In addition to the wood, there was no wine opener, and countless other utensils were “gone” making it hard for us to enjoy the weekend. The biggest problem was the property management team who never delivered on anything they said and were plain rude. I will never rent this property or from VaCasa again. Also, the house was filled with spider webs, there were previous red wine stains on the floor (which made them sticky), the bathtubs had filth. Not recommended. Find another listing.
We really enjoyed our stay and not having single issue
We had a great time at this cabin. It's nice and private with great views. Plenty of room for a large group, including good sleeping spaces. The home was very clean. The issues we had included the main level toilet not flushing (had to remove tank and manually flush each time), the doors to the back deck from the main living room got stuck shut (the lock is malfunctioning), and some of the screens on the decks are torn. Our number one recommendation for this cabin would be more outdoor furniture. There are several decks with no seating and some with just or two seats. The decks are large and have great views so it would have been nice to have some more lounge furniture/tables, etc. Overall, we had a fantastic trip!
The cabin was very clean spacious and felt like home.
Great house, very spacious and perfect location; however, appliances need updating desperately. The stove took 15 mins to make scrambled eggs and fridge not adequate for a house that accommodates 12 people. The pots and pans had dried up food in them, and the stairs to basement are ridiculously steep and no hot water in master bathroom. House unlocked when we arrived and there was an exterior doorknob broken and the screen is coming off on porch.
House is in a beautiful spot. House has everything you need for a big family gathering. Bring towels for the hot tub. Bath towels were provided.
Overall, we enjoyed the property. The only negatives were lack of cookware for such a large house. The few pots and pans that were available were old and damaged. There was also a lack of cooking utensils. The were no dish towels or pot holder/dish mittens. The TV in the game room didn’t work. You couldn’t watch any of the normal cable sports games. You could only connect your phone for music or streaming movies. The biggest negative was the management company. We accidentally left some items in the house. We called to report the items that needed to be returned. We were told we needed to pay $35 to have the items returned. We sent the money but never received the items. After calling numerous times, we were told they didn’t have the items but also keep the $35 that we paid to return them. After talking to several customer service reps, I discovered the reps were in Belize (not even in the US or the State) and it sounded like the majority of the operation is in Belize. Be careful if you decide to work with the Vacasa company. We still have not heard back from them about returning the extra $35. We know 100% that we left the items but they claim they were not there. I personally feel the items were stolen by the person(s) that cleaned the house but we will never know. Just be careful if you go this route.
Game room, decently stocked kitchen, gas grill, nice setup to have own space with 3 king, 2 queen/full + 4 full baths
The cabin was amazing and enough space for everyone to have their own space. We came and stayed a few days for a girls trip. Loved the view the only disappointment was the cookware There was hardly any. If you have a big party there is not enough pots and pans to cook with. We made it work for the 4 of us. My daughters loved the pool table I loved the screened in porch
Really nice place seen a bear first day there very roomy and comfortable beds
House is very large with lots of outdoor space & parking. We had a very good time enjoying the outdoor views and local activities.
