This was our 3 rd stay at this location and it was clean and just right for 3 or 4 guests! Great price , great lodging!
Already booked for next year! Great property!
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our recent trip to Alaska. The cabin more than served all our needs during our stay. The living room was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. The vacuum sealer was an unexpected surprise to find to prepare our fish for the long trip home. The washer/dryer was an added bonus as well. The location of the cabin was perfect. Settled in a quiet neighborhood where the only things running around were a few rabbits and a momma moose with two calves. It is a short drive to the Kasilof and Kenai Rivers for some world class fishing. We spent the majority of time in Soldotna which was only about 15 minutes away, maybe less if not for road construction. During the whole booking to checking out time frame anytime I sent Mike or Sheila a message they were very prompt in replying. Spoke with Mike on one occasion about the TV and he was a very pleasant person to talk to. Would recommend this property to anyone. Thanks, Jeff K North Carolina
We arrived at the cabin and much to our delight there were bunnies frolicking around in the yard. The kitchen is AMAZING (every pot, Pan, crock pot, griddle and bowl we needed was there!) and for a family with a kiddo with food allergies a good kitchen is an absolute MUST! The cabin is set back in its own quiet oasis. We read books, watched a moose family frolic the property, sat on the upstairs balcony, ate ENDLESS meals on the downstairs deck, and enjoyed the cozy living room endlessly! Our kids loved it too! The washer and drier were a huge delight as we’re traveling for many weeks and appreciated the amenity greatly. The location is an easy day drive to so many towns on the peninsula. We had day trips to Homer, Anchor Point, Cooper Landing, Seward and Soldotna! We visited two restaurants that we’d highly recommend to anyone staying at the cabin. Adults at The Flats Bistro and family at St. Elias Brewery. Mike and Sheila are AMAZING. They’re easy to contact with any questions and quick to respond. The use of a couple of fishing poles that they have at the cabin was BEYOND kind and my son was THRILLED to use them. Well, my husband and daughter were too! ? We can’t wait to go back and highly recommend if you’re in Alaska make Kasilof a must! This cabin is true Alaskan perfection!!
We are repeat customers at this destination. It works great for us. We are close to the river and the beach for fishing in a quiet setting with all the amenities we require. Owners Mike and Shiela are wonderful attentive hosts and always available to answer questions and solve any minor problems. We will be back next year! Gary and Denise
We fished and sightsaw 14 to 16 hrs a day - so it was great to come back to a cabin that was so well thought out and stocked. Coffee on the balcony in the A.M. or adult beverages of the P.M. - not knowing what wildlife may walk through the front yard. best stay for us in AK to date!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. My wife and I fished nearby, lounged, prepared meals and based day trips from here. It worked out very well and was a step up from prior tent camping experiences. The laundry facilities and full bathroom were a plus! We will come back again!
Great place too stay, very roomy and country. Saw a few moose and had a great time salmon fishing.
