Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is located in a central area to the National park for hiking, downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin is well maintained and very comfortable for families with 1 bedroom suite on the middle level and a jack/Jill suite w/ individual bathrooms on the top floor. The only surprise I had was the view. From the back porch your view is to the right of the house and is mainly a valley. I assumed we were higher up when we booked the cabin. All in all it was a pleasant surprise we were ok with since our priorities were hiking and access to local towns.

Absolutely horrible! The cabin was infested with German cockroaches. They were running around the kitchen and dining room. Called many times to see if they would move us. They only wanted to communicate through text… unacceptable they would not return my call and they sent out an exterminator who down played the infestation twice. They never returned my call until the last day we were leaving. Absolutely shocked that such a beautiful cabin was so dirty and infested. Never use Bear Tracts Rental Cabins. I have videos and pics that were sent to them about the problem but they didn’t seems to care. They got in our luggage and I had to have my house exterminated as well. You have been warned!

We loved our time here! It was our first family vacation with our three year old and three month old. The view from the porch was stunning, the pool was perfect for my husband and son to play in and the location was fantastic! Perfect for heading into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Hoping to make this trip a yearly thing for our family.

Loved this house and location! Feels like we lucked out as we didn’t know much about the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area. It’s away from the crowds and crazy but such an ideal location to hit up all the activities we wanted to do and see. We would definitely come back again. And rocking on the porches was one of our favorite things!

The cabin was very clean and we had so much extra space for everyone to sprawl out. The pool in the basement was an an added bonus even after long days exploring.
