Fox Den Lodge: Your Cozy Mountain Haven w/ game room & Spa

The kitchen had all the amenities you would need. The large dining table accomodated my entire family. The kids loved the cornhole game. The area was absolutely gorgeous! I considered renting there again in the future but there was 2 issues that will now deter me. The neighbor next door kept coming outside and watching us. He came out and started watering his garden within earshot of our conversations. It was awkward to get into the jacuzzi with him watching. He then started a BBQ and sat as close to us as possible even though he had a huge deck and could have sat elsewhere. It took away from the serenity of the place and there was little to no privacy whatsoever. The second issue was that i received multiple calls and texts from the rental company pressuring me to leave a review. At first i didnt mind, but it became bothersome, specially as i had booked through expedia and not them. They told me they would give a discount if i booked directly through them next time. I dont think there will be a next time. Its sad too as the cabin itself was clean, beautiful and spacious, and the town was quaint and enjoyable.

Having 5 seperate sleeping areas for a 5 woman getaway was a huge plus! There was actually a 3rd bathroom in the lower level game room with the murphy bed. The large securely fenced in yard was the icing on the cake.Loved it.

My friends and I enjoyed our time in the home! Lots of plates, silverware, and cups to use. There is a regular coffee pot and a Keurig.

Cabin smell like it needed to be aired out. Two of the bed mattresses were too firm and uncomfortable to sleep in. But overall

This was one of the most enjoyable vacation houses that we have stayed in. Everything was on point. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals for our entire family. The bathrooms were well stocked and very clean as well. The views from the cabin are amazing and the cabin is in a great location (walkable to town). Much fun was had by both adults and kids. We would absolutely come back and stay here again.

Great place to stay. Enough beds for a group of 10 (4 parents, 6 kids). Place was cozy, cute, and very clean. Bottom floor is a great hangout area especially for youths/kids. Lots of windows for natural light. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, cups, etc. We even got to see some snow during our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Idyllwild!

My sister’s family and my own stayed at the Fox Den and it was a perfect fit for us. Every bedroom has a king sized bed, there was also a den with another Murphy bed downstairs. The cabin is well stocked throughout with all the kitchen & bathroom necessities. The cabin is clean and updated throughout. It has a nice wrap around deck with a nice sized yard. The property manager was responsive. I highly recommend this place for a big family as we will definitely stay here again.

My husband, 1.5 year old and myself rented the home for the new year holiday. The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s a three level home, which includes a basement hang out room. It was great for putting the baby to bed upstairs and then hanging out in the basement. Our son especially liked the fox nook to read and play in

We would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was well stocked and the cabin nicely decorated. It was great to have 4 King beds as well. We walked into town to enjoy all the shops and restaurants. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family. Thank you!
