June Lake, California
Experience an A-Frame-style cabin nestled at the foot of Carson Peak and offering breathtaking vistas of the Ansel Adams Wilderness.
As you step inside these cozy cabins, you'll immediately sense the warmth and comfort of a true home away from home. On your left, you'll find a welcoming bedroom with a queen bed. Moving forward, the space opens up into a combined living area that seamlessly integrates the kitchen, dining tables, and a comfortable living room.
The highlight of the living room is the floor-to-ceiling glass windows that provide breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness and mountainside, bringing the natural beauty right to your doorstep.
Climbing the stairs from the living room, you'll reach a charming loft area featuring three single beds, perfect for a family or group of friends.
It's the simple pleasures of the mountains and the genuine coziness of these cabins that continue to draw people to June Lake year after year.
Rented the cabin for myself and a couple friends for a five day fishing trip. Location was very nice, super clean. Very convenient location to use as a base camp to wander around the Sierras and fish different locations. I was very impressed, received emails leading up to vacation. With instructions, automatic door code, etc. I would definitely stay here again, and look forward to it in the future.
Very clean; Kitchen fully stocked; easy to contact office. We had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay.
Old A-Frame. Extremely clean. Well stocked bathroom towels/wash cloths, kitchen utensils and pots/pans/glasses/cups. Nice view of mountain behind the unit. BUT: Toilet seat broken, sliding door locks broken, poor air circulation with no roof insulation so too unit hot or too cold, fans in poor working shape, AND master bedroom mattress broken and needs replacement. Had to use a single mattress from loft on the floor to sleep on. Did not stay the third paid night paid due to master bedroom mattress. Too disappointed to bother asking for 1 night refund and the hassle. Would never rent again.
Needs better heating
Would return for another vacation it was quiet and away from other people but close to all the lakes
I knew as soon as we pulled up the beautiful A Frame Cabin we had made the right choice. Beautiful form the outside and just as nice on the inside. As they location location location. Super close to the little town and lakes nestle in the foothills of the close by mountain. Steps from an amazing hike Fern Lake, diffiuclt hike but well worth it.
Lovely experience full of solitude and beauty - love the rustic charm of the furnishings and the history of the cabins staying in the family. Had everything we needed, stellar lodging!
This place was perfect for us - we loved having a good location with so many beautiful spots to explore in the Eastern Sierra, and a do-able drive for day trips to Tuolumne Meadows. The house was cute and clean but felt perfectly rustic and like we were “in the mountains.” The area is extremely quiet, even with the neighboring cabins. We especially loved the beautiful view out into the Inyo Ntl Forest. From our window and back deck we saw many wonderful birds! Exceptional views of the mountains too. The beds were comfortable! Upstairs gets pretty hot by the end of the day, but it’s easily cooled off with a fan and leaving the screen doors open for a bit, as the evenings cool off quickly. The kitchen had really nice knives and pots and pans, which was great for our group as we cooked our meals here. We loved our stay and our time here.
Very homey and pleasant. Great view off the back deck. Trees and Carson peak. Quiet
For the most part everything was wonderful. The cabin was clean. The view from the back porch of the cabin (we stayed in #3) was spectacular with visits from deer in the early evenings. Absolutely loved. We arrived during a hot spell (mid-eighty degree daytime temperatures), and the cabin does heat up and can become quite uncomfortable until the late evening cool off. Fortunately, during the day we were off doing activities and it was only the dinner time hours and up until about 8 PM that were uncomfortable. We were unable to find a coffee pot and all of us are hard-core coffee drinkers. We brought our own ground coffee as the information given by property had indicated to do so. On day two I left a message with the property manager about not finding a coffee pot but never heard back. We were there for seven days and had to buy coffee out every day. I would just bring my own coffee maker next time. All in all we think it is a wonderful place to stay. We had a great time. We would all definitely recommend.
