Everything was great. Only issues were a few light fixtures were not working.

The porch is the clear winner of this property, the view is stunning. We sat on the porch every night, enjoying the beautiful weather and peace. We even had a bear visit one evening, he just strolled by, looked at us and carried on his way.

This farmhouse-style cabin has quaint appeal. It's not your typical vacation rental. With its spacious screened front porch and its heavy and solid wooden furniture throughout, it invites you back to a quieter, slower time. The location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is ideal, and the wooded setting is scenic and peaceful. Our grandkids enjoyed exploring the lovely creek that runs by it.The kitchen/dining area is large and well-lit. However, other areas would benefit from more modern lighting (and some of the light switches are in unexpected places). The bathroom situation is rather quirky. Four bedrooms have attached baths, and two more share a split-bath in the hall, consisting of one room with shower and sink and a separate non-connecting room with a toilet. A large, open sunken shower in one of the baths could pose challenges for the elderly, small children, or those with mobility issues. One bathroom door wouldn't lock, and in the same bath a shower knob came off in the hand.We found the Ayres Group very helpful. However, little operational information was available initially (procedures for trash pick-up, clear instructions for operating the TV, etc.).A few practical improvements could make the Fish House a memorable part of a vacation in the mountains.

The cabin was perfect for what we needed which was 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The location was also perfect it was between both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg very easy to get to both towns. The house needs a little TLC.

There was a problem at the Fish House and we were notified immediately prior to check in. Bill at Ayers Property management notified us and put us in the Lodge House in Seveirville. Absolutely gorgeous place. It was an Air Force reunion for guys all over 75 yrs and their wives. Bill went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and pleased with the alternative lasting. I recommend Ayers Properties in the Tennessee mountains to anyone wanting a pleasant vacation. Thank you Ayers and thank you, Bill.

BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY!!! Old charming rustic home in a great location and wonderful neighbor between Gatlinburg and Sieverville. House itself is in poor condition with filthy carpets; urine and fecal stains EVERYWHERE!!! The last night we were there we had an unwanted guest for dinner... a snake was in the dining room, scared us to death. Management company and owners do not care about this property. All the other reviews are on point!

The cabin was not clean. We found a cooked Hot Pocket in the microwave. On day two we found a mouse running into one of the bedrooms. Every morning there after we had to wipe down the kitchen counters, due to find mouse feces on the counter. The carpets were not clean to the point if you walked bare footed, the bottoms of your feet were black with dirt. The door knob to side door was broken, so you could not exit through that door, but you could come in. A large skid of mulch was being stored under the carport, so it could not be utilized completely. The master bathroom did not have hot water. The large screened in porch was awesome and the location was amazing. It does actually have six bedrooms.

We really enjoyed our stay, house was very spacious, property was beautiful! The only disappointment was the quality of the beds & bedding. The furniture was worn, but passable. But we still enjoyed ourselves & had an amazing time!
