Firewater Lodge Cabin Experience

Beautiful cabin in the woods, well stocked, clean and comfortable. Wished they had a propane fireplace outside to enjoy the outdoor patio, or a hot tub. It was fire season and no campfires were allowed.

We really enjoyed the creek, what a great bonus for the kids to enjoy. Also, we liked the design, decorations and architecture.

We will continue going back twice a year as long as the owner will have us!!!!

We took a quick trip to Roseburg and had just the best time at this cute cabin in the woods. I hope to go back again when we can spend some more time!

This is a fantastic property that had everything we could ask for. The communication from the host was great, cabin shows pride of ownership and thoughtfulness toward guests. We spent our days adventuring and evenings watching the grandkids play on the nicely cut grass while we relaxed and grilled. This is the cleanest rental home we have stayed in. Perfect base camp for any Southern Oregon adventure and if you’re not sure where to go the hosts provide lots of insight in their lodge book, something for everyone.

The house was great. Very well stocked kitchen and firewood made for a fun and relaxing new year’s gathering with our close friends. Two families, including 4 boys 8-14, and two dogs had plenty of space and gathering room. Owner, Jon, was responsive and thoughtful. Sent us to a good location to forage for mushrooms! Roseburg is a sweet town with everything you need.

Host is very accommodating and efficient. Home is 5 star, not left wanting for anything. We are repeat guests for great reason.

I hosted a friendsgiving weekend for a few close friends and their spouse's and the Firewater Lodge Cabin was the perfect setting. We all live within 30 minutes so it was easy to get to for those who only came for the evening portion. There is plenty of property to explore and nothing beats sitting around a campire at night with fully stocked firewood. There is so much to appreciate inside the cabin as well, you can tell a lot of love and hard work went into the build.We will definitely be back for another stay.

This has been my favorite vacation home rental to date!The cabin was cleaned to a professional level and thoughtfully stocked with everything we would want! The great reviews aren’t overrated! I wish we were able to stay longer! We were in town to visit family and we able to host a few dinners for extended family at the cabin. It was a nice private area, right off a main highway. Theres an awesome porch with a fire pit where we had s’mores. We were free to roam the property. We checked out the brook & picked fruit with the kids. There was a giant lawn with yard games available. Indoors, there were painting supplies and games inside. My son LOVED the drums upstairs. We were content the entire time at the cabin. What an awesome gem!!! We were thankful to have the opportunity to spend a few days at Firewater Cabin.

The cabin was better than expected and I loved the privacy, peace and quiet of the property and surroundings. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The property was excellent just what we needed nice peace, and quiet and excellent way to relax did some wine tours and tasting had some friends down from Alaska up for dinner. That we met up for wine tastingthoroughly enjoyed our stay at your cabin.Will definitely rebook a longer stay in the future

This isn’t what we were looking for over the July 4th weekend, but it’s exactly to what we needed, and I’m so glad that it was available. This group of 8 friends has had a very rough couple of years and needed a getaway. We originally started looking for something in January by the ocean where it’s normally cooler this time of year, but July 4th Weekend made pricing astronomical. We expanded our search inland and found this cabin owned by Jon and his family. I’m so glad that we did. The cabin amenities are NOT cabin amenities! The kitchen had all the pots, pans, and dinnerware that we needed to cook well all weekend. The “Man Cave” mastebath shower was Heavenly. Although we were technically in a no solid fuel burning season, we brought our propane fire pit and was able to enjoy the patio late into the evenings. During the days, some of us went hiking, while others went on a wine tour. Others of us did yoga in the field, or slept in the shade by the creek on our yoga mats. I spent several hours just exploring the creek itself. The creek and access to it are not listed in the advert, but it’s definitely icing on the cake. Thank you again!

The house was very clean and had everything we could've needed! The owners were super responsive when we had questions. Property is the perfect mix of wilderness and comfort. Will definitely be back!

The log cabin you dream of owning. Amazing craftsmanship with lots of unique features. Everything you need was supplied, just bring food. Loved the private setting with a nice creek and great fire pit to sit around and enjoy our group. Highly recommend a stay here!

What a beautiful cabin. Spacious, clean, with all the kitchen utensils you could ever want. Had a problem with the dishwasher and the owner came over and fixed it the next day. Beautiful land. Enjoyed the wild turkeys! Would definitely rent again. Bathrooms were clean and well furnished. Lots of little extras.

Such a homey and beautiful house and property. Perfect weather. My whole family is already asking to go back!

We loved everything about our stay here!! Wonderful communication with our host, clean, and quiet were some of our first impressions! Check-in and checkout were simple and everything I could have thought of as a question is answered for me before I think of it. Open and comfortable living area made for a great movie night. We enjoyed playing in the creek and sitting by the fire pit! The kitchen was fully stocked, so appreciated! The beds provided plenty of space for all of us and everyone commented how comfy they all were…they definitely didn’t cut corners on the beds so great sleep was had by all! Really can’t thank them enough for the great stay and going the extra mile in so many ways!

Excellent location. Very peaceful and fully stocked. My 4 year old daughter told everyone when we went somewhere we lived in a “fancy house”! She had so much fun there! We will definitely be back.

My Wife, Daughter, her husband and our 3 Grand kids stayed at the cabin for my Son's Wedding at Melrose Vineyards. It was more than we expected! Great communication with the Host! Cabin was clean as whistle! Kitchen and cabin was well stocked with utensils, spices, towels, coffee, laundry and wish water soap. Everything you would need to make you stay comfortable. Cooking for the family was a breeze! The outside grills were great! The kids loved playing in the creek, seeing the deer in the evening, picking fruit, playing corn hole toss, and just enjoying to Oregon back woods experience. Plenty of games, coloring books, etc to keep them busy as well! We would this a 6+ if we could! Stay and you won't be disappointed! A true Oregon woods experience, that is close to many local treasures the area has to offer!

This property was the perfect fit for our family. The inside was beautiful and the craftsmanship was absolutely beautiful. The air conditioning was exceptional as it was very hot. Plenty of kitchen to work in. The property itself was amazing for barbecuing, playing games. It was perfect. a creek at the end of the property. It was a gr.

Beautiful, well-maintained, clean. Log home made of large logs, with a high ceiling, and unique features e.g. a shower reminiscent of a mountain stream due to the use of a variety of stone/rock components.

Beautiful and quaint location. Host provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Easy access to Wildlife Safari and Crater Lake. Modern amenities with rustic style. Excellent value. Highly recommended for families.
