Stayed Oct 10, 2025Took two days to get a confirmation number to get in the gate. Trash bins were full and had to leave trash in the kitchen when checking out. Beautiful cabin and great experience overall.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024Loved our stay at Bucks Bear Lodge! Beautiful and spacious with everything you could want. Comfy beds and plush towels. Gas fireplaces, but bring wood for the fire pit. The road through the resort is narrow and winding, so just be aware. There are also many deer roaming around.

Stayed Sep 30, 2024The hurricane washed out our house near Ashville so we made a plan B and it was a great choice. The owners have done a great job with their house. It is warm and inviting. We will be back!

Stayed Jul 23, 2023The house is beautiful as is the gated community. Everything went really well - great communication throughout. The only issue we had at all was the price of the amenities card. The listing said it would be $10 for a day pass, so we waited until midway through our stay for a day when we would be able to make good use of the pass. Turns out there aren't day passes any more - it is a 1 time fee of $59 that covers your entire stay (for up to 4 people). Had we known that, we would have bought the pass on the first day and then used the pools/rec center for a short time each day. This was truly a minor inconvenience, but it could be a bigger issue for some. We certainly won't hesitate to come back - this was one of our best vacations ever. We are very pleased.

Stayed Jul 5, 2023Loved this cabin. Everything was awesome from check in to check out. The cabin was very clean and modern. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. Loved sitting out on the back with the fireplace and the front porch with the swing. The cabin had several options for outdoor seating which we loved. The fire pit was a nice touch, we made S’mores one night. The highlight of the trip was getting to see the deer everyday! I was sad when it was time to leave. This was the best trip, very peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back!!

Stayed Jun 25, 2023The property was clean, new and very nice. Plenty of room for a group of 5. The deck was very nice to hang out in the morning and evenings. We used the grill every night and there was plenty of space in the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient for Ellijay, Blue Ridge, hiking in GA and whitewater rafting in TN.
