Family & Pet Friendly Mountain Retreat~ Steam Shower~ 5 minutes from lake!

It's a little challenging to get to the property. A little patience is well rewarded at arrival. Everything you would want or need is at the cabin. The bath is a spa experience, and the place is cozy and a pleasure to visit. I can't wait to go back and spend more time.

This is a beautiful, clean, traquil and relaxing home away from home. The beds are comfortable, the living space is open and full of light during the day. The hosts have made great efforts to make this a family and/or couple friendly destination. Our dog was welcomed and enjoyed her stay (being with her people). The views are spectacular.

We loved this cabin! It was clean and welcoming. Clean sheets and towels provided was nice so we didn’t have to pack extra. There were directions for everything you needed (keurig, thermostat, steam shower, tv, etc). Amazing views in the winter. We enjoyed sitting in the sunroom and watching the wildlife. The supplies for our dog were appreciated and the games kept us entertained in the evening. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at this cabin! It was all that we hoped for. Our dogs had a great time and loved walking in the snow. The owner, Brigid, was very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful retreat. Second time visiting and is top of the list when I am in the area. Cozy but plenty of space, all you need to relax and recharge while being close to great outdoor experiences.

Hard to beat! Scenic surroundings from a tranquil and warm home. Close enough to Harper’s Ferry for a trip in to take in the surroundings or pick up some food from some of the many great local establishments. Hard to beat waking up and sipping coffee as you watch deer and other animals forage below, especially after enjoying a great nights sleep post stream shower!All the “little things” were thought of by the host. Great home!

Once we found the property we enjoyed all of the deer, the singing birds and spectacular sunset.

Comfortable and quiet mountain cabin with convenient location for our planned activities at Harpers Ferry and Sharpsburg. We would stay there again if in the area. Good communication with the host.Deer in the yard every morning and evening added to a pleasurable experience.

This is a super cute mountain cabin that has been completely redone with some pretty high end finishes. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our quick visit!

This was the second time we stayed at this cabin and it was even better than before! It was clean, quiet, and has lots of nature views. Additionally the host was very responsive and provided tons of useful info about the area. Steam shower was the cherry on top!

This property was quite wonderful. Nice and quiet. An abundance of wildlife visited while we were there. Deer with their babies chipmunks, plenty of birds. I even had a coyote run across the backyard. The property was literally 20 minutes from everywhere. A nice added touch was that there was only TV in the bedrooms. The sun room and deck were great to just sit and relax. Highly recommend booking this property if you just want to get away for a weekend wind down

99% positive things to say about this place. The views, the kitchen, the beautiful room facing down the mountain was our favorite room to do things.The mattresses are a little too forgiving. We prefer stiffer mattresses than were provided. And the drive up, if not used to driving up a mountain, was a bit terrifying the first time. But you get used to it. Sort of.Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we decide to spend time in the area again.

THIS PLACE WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR - IT WAS PERFECT FOR THE FOUR OF US AND MY TITO CAME ALONG ON HIS FIRST TRIP WITH THE GIRLS - IT'S AWAY FROM EVERYTHING - DEEP IN THE MOUNTAINS. THE PLACE WAS AMAZING EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Clean and quiet mountain cottage. We had an amazing time exploring the area and relaxing.

We had such a relaxing visit. The views were incredible. We can’t wait to go back!

The house was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with it's heated floor and rain shower. Having two porches was enjoyable. The little extras like tea and coffee, snacks and games were appreciated.

The home is situated up several narrow, winding roads. I don't recommend finding it in the dark. The rain shower shower-head is wonderful, but the shower size is too big for the room. There is no room for toiletries @ the sink. A luggage shelf would be helpful. There are no grocery store nearby. Bring your food with you.

Really nice house that was accurate to listing. Bathroom in particular was nicely furnished with a great shower room. Great view from the indoor deck area. Nice outdoor space with well-done landscaping and a fire pit. The property owner was also highly flexible with needs for my pet. I would recommend this property and would stay there again.

It's the perfect place to stay if you're going to HF but want some distance from people/a view of the mountains. Really nice property. We'd stay again! Thanks!

The cabin was beautiful! Brigid has the cabin well stocked. She was very welcoming. Our family with kids and a dog felt very comfortable and even pampered!

Fabulous steam shower, high quality linens and very comfy bed. Fred likes a firm mattress and I like soft and we were both happy and slept well in the Master. Lovely assortment of coffees and teas. And one of my favorites an electric tea kettle. . Very quiet. Beautiful sun room for dining or working or relaxing. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Bathroom well supplied. We ate in most of the time and appliances. Definitely recommend!ekettle.

To start this cabin was AMAZINGLY Clean. Everything was just as host said it would be, the communication was outstanding, check in was perfect and seamless and the only note to self gfor next trip is pay close attention to the Drive In instructions. Can be a little challenging especially at night. Wonderful Place and people!!

The property was beautiful, the location was stunning, the price was perfect, how could I say more? The only thing my family was upset with was we had to leave. We Will absolutely be coming back, hopefully very soon.

The cabin was very nice and quaint. We had a nice stay. The view from the sunroom is great amazing. The place is very cozy and made for a great night away.

It was so nice. We were bummed to only be there one night. Such a lovely set up. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Although I have to say the trip up the hill was similar to a roller coaster ride, such fun.

Comfy cabin with everything topline. Loved the sunroom and the steam shower. Daily watching deer feed and stroll through the yard below. Gus wasn’t happy about it but he still watched through floor to ceiling windows.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. The steam shower was so wonderful and those heated floors felt amazing in the morning. My favorite spot was the incredible sunroom and the views from there. My morning coffee was extra special in that spot. It was just the right break for us.

My family stayed here while visiting for a wedding. It met all of our needs and was super clean. The drive was pleasant. Lots of wildlife around to watch for in the evening. We really enjoyed the steam shower and covered porch area. If we need a place to stay in the area we will definitely return.

This little cabin is absolutely perfect! My husband and I came up for just a short trip and the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed.

We made an impromptu decision to stay here to break up our 16 hour drive home from vacation and it turned out to be exactly the right spot to wind down from vacation before returning home. A little secluded but we picked up all of the groceries and wine needed so we didn’t have to venture out much! It was also suitable for working a couple of days with good internet connection! The views and space were great!

Beautiful cabin! We loved the steam shower and the cabin was very clean and organized with everything we needed. It was great to sit on the deck and watch all the deer roam the property. The cabin was a short drive to Harper’s Ferry where we spent time hiking and then returned to the cabin to relax by the fire pit. Communication with the owner was excellent. Highly recommend!

My sister and I stayed in this beautiful cabin which is tucked away in the peaceful, wooded hills of Jefferson County. The cabin and outdoor surroundings were serene and enchanting, just what we needed to relax and rejuvenate on our annual sister trip. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting outside on the deck and watching the deer and squirrels walk by. The inside was very clean and neat. The rainfall showerhead and steam feature, as well as the comfortable beds, helped us unwind after hiking the steep hills in Harper's Ferry National Historic Park. Brigid and TJ provided everything we needed and included some thoughtful touches like the coffee/tea bar and welcome basket. They maintained clear and responsive communication throughout the stay and were excellent hosts! We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for some rest and relaxation.
