Family-Friendly Shaver Lake Cabin w/ Game Room

The property was very spacious , enough space for all my guests. The floors were dirty, so I had to mop them. The patio area didn't have an umbrella.

Cabin is large and well-appointed.

A very nice stay. Cabin was nice. Parking was a bit sketch since I had a boat. But otherwise nice stay. One constructive comment... I had no idea VRBO hadn't taken the second payment. And didn't realize I hadn't received checkin instructions until I was on the road. Not a great experience having to deal with crappy check out software on my phone.

Check-in was super easy. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. Our stay was a great family vacation

Rocky Meadow cabin is great and all the amenities are as described. Spacious, clean, and the AC works great.Great communication with the management team. We did have some challenges in the first part of the stay and the reason for 4 stars. I would have went 4.5 stars if available to select that option. The issues were resolved and were honestly a one off and most likely wouldn’t happen again but did impact our stay. I would absolutely stay at Rocky Meadow again and I hope to be back again next year.

Our group loved how family friendly this log cabin was; equipped with games and the efficient space for everyone. The location was great and easy to access. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

This is the 2nd year we stayed here everything was great. Family friendly we were here with 4 children under 10. Plenty of comfortable beds and things to do. This was just a great place to take my family.

The property was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The concerns and complaints I have would be.(1) When we arrived, although a little early, some of the light bulbs were out throughout the house. The maintenance man, was working on another cabin, and came to help us get in, but advised he didn't have enough bulbs to replace them all and would have to come back later, or he could replace them after we finished our stay. We decided to let him do it after we checked out.(2) We discovered that the fan switch in the small bedroom didn't work, but was not a big issue. (3) The cookware was dirty upon arrival along with the BBQ. We cleaned the cookware and BBQ after arriving. Also the cabinets were not organized and had left over cooking supplies just crammed into the pantry, from previous tenants. The pots and pans should be replaced, the non-stick ones were no longer non-stick and deformed, burnt & scratched and were hard to clean up after cooking. (4) The garage was un organized, the game tables had stains, trash and were just randomly placed with other garage contents piled up in corners and along the wall, ( vacuum (full), lawn mower, mop bucket, mop was in another corner, laundry soap dripping from container between washer and dryer onto the floor. (5) The carpet in master bedroom was winkled up causing a tripping hazard, besides looking trashy. (6) When messaging the host through the VRBO site, never got a response, finally had to call the actual host to get answers.

We loved this big cabin with tons of space for all of us (big family of 7) and we even had room to spare! The ping pong table was a big hit with the boys. It was perfect for our son's birthday fishing trip, but we can't wait to go again during the snowy season and play in the meadow right behind the cabin. Fireplace made it super cozy at night and super easy (flip a switch to turn on) which I appreciate!! Will definitely be back.

The stay was absolutely amazing. The property was wonderfully decorated, the amenities were incredible. The host was extremely attentive. Our overall experience was excellent.

This cabin was the prefect solution for our mountain family vacation. The location is close to town, and the cabin was spacious enough for our three families to fit comfortably. With the addition of being dog friendly, it met all our needs.
