Spacious main cabin sleeps 6, plus, you have the option to include the guest house in your rental to sleep up to 4 more people for an additional $100 per night, plus $45 cleaning fee (plus service fees and tax). Total number of guests is limited to 6 in the main cabin and a total of 10 if the casita is included. Please note, we do not rent to separate parties at the same time, so if you only rent the cabin, there would not be another party in the casita. Relax amongst the tall pines on this one-acre heavily wooded lot in Payson. The main cabin is charming and spacious. The 1,700-square-foot home has three bedrooms, two full baths - both newly remodeled, new countertops and floor tile in the kitchen with island and open living and dining area. There is plenty of room for the entire family and you will feel at home the minute you walk in the door. The air conditioned main home has two California king beds, one full-size memory foam bed and a new queen sofa sleeper. Enjoy barbecuing on the large covered, gated deck. The deck is the perfect spot for bird watching and listening to the wind in the pines. With plenty of windows, two skylights and vaulted ceilings the living area is welcoming. New flooring and faux wood blinds put the finishing touches on the cabin experience. For larger groups or privacy, for an additional nightly fee, rent the guest house during your stay. The 300-square foot guest house has two bedrooms (one king and one queen), one full bath with shower and a small refrigerator. Make Wrangler Ranch your home base for all your rim activities. It is just minutes from Rumsey and Green Valley Parks – fishing, sports fields, library and more. And, it’s just 10 minutes from the world-famous Tonto Natural Bridge. Pine, Strawberry and plenty of lakes, golf courses and sightseeing are only a short drive away. Best of all you’re only minutes from shopping, dining out, antiquing and the movie theater. Wrangler Ranch provides WiFi and one satellite TV for your convenience, plus games, puzzles and DVDs for your enjoyment. This is a non-smoking home and smoking is not allowed inside or outside. If you are a smoker this home is probably not a good fit for you. We do not allow pets. The cabin does have an outdoor surveillance camera at the entry way and trail cameras on the side yard for elk sightings.

    We enjoyed our stay at this house in the pines. Four of us were in the main house and two were in the adjacent casita. The house was in a nice quiet area with lots of pine trees on the large lot. Us Phoenix area residents enjoyed the nice cool air in early October. The Tonto Natural Bridge State Park was interesting as was our shopping trip and lunch in Pine.

    Our stay was over the Labor Day weekend and we had our entire family staying in Payson to enjoy the weekend and celebrate a couple birthdays. The grandkids had a blast playing in the back yard and the trill of seeing elk up close. This home/cabin is wonderful, and very comfortable.We will return if the host permits.     Great place to stay in the Pines! My four grandchildren and I spent two nights in this lovely cabin in Payson to escape the heat from Phoenix. It was spacious and comfortable inside. It has everything you need to feel at home. The backyard was large and fenced so my smallest grandchildren could run around and have fun! The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils. The owner Kim was so accommodating and friendly, which made communicating with her a pleasure. Also, although in town you felt like you were in the woods with the pines all around. We will definitely being coming back.

    We decided to make an impromtu escape to the mountains and could not have chosen a better place to stay. The owner was friendly and communicative. The cabin was nicely updated but maintained its cabin charm. The property was quiet and tucked away but still close enoughif we needed to run out. We would definitely come back.

    We had a lovely week in Payson. The property felt secluded but was close to town. We took walks and saw Elk in the yard. We enjoyed the cold weather and the cozy fire place. The main house and guest house allowed us to enjoy the company of our kids and grandchildren. We look forward to staying here next year!

    The property was exactly what we were looking for to rent for a weekend up in Payson. We were close to everything Payson has to offer. Restaurants, hiking, shopping. Even though we were so close to all this, the property still felt like you were in the woods once you entered it, with just a couple neighbors nearby. Elk came down and snacked in the yard, giving us a great show some of the afternoons. Check-in and out were very clear and the owners were super responsive. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

    The property was wonderful as usual. It has become our go to place when we do our fishing trips. The cabin is clean and uncluttered ( which I very much appreciate). It is close to town and yet you feel quite secluded. Kim is a wonderful and very helpful host. And if you want to see elk in the backyard every evening, this is the place to stay. Just love it.

    Amazing stay as always. The property is in the beginning of the forest, back yard is spacious and you can get views of elk grazing. Nice size decl for bbq with family and enjoy the nights. Close enough to town and restaurants. Only few mins to parks and 40 mins to nice lakes.

    We enjoyed our stay at Kim’s cabin. It fit our family perfectly! The cabin was clean and accommodations were comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed! Kim was easy to communicate with and very accommodating when we had something unexpected come up that we needed help resolving! She was very kind and helped us come up with a great solution and it all worked out beautifully! Would highly recommend staying at her place!
