La Pine, Oregon
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin on the outskirts of La Pine, Oregon.Wake up with your morning cup of coffee, grab a seat in the backyard and watch the deer walk by. Your backyard opens to forest land (unmarked trails). Just a short walk away is the Little Deschutes River. La Pine is central to so many outdoor adventures- Cultus Lake, Crescent Lake, Smith Rock, Paulina Lake, Wickiup Reservoir are all a short distance away. Crater Lake National Park is just a 2 hour drive away. The La Pine recreation center has pickleball courts for public use (Finley Butte Sports Complex- just over 3 miles from house). We love this little cabin of ours and hope you will too!
Lisa's place was perfect. It was clean, well stocked, had plenty of space, and the location was amazing. Lisa was very easy to work with and super responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone.
We ended up only getting to stay one night due to a work conflict on our end, but the house was fabulous. It was so relaxing and in such a quiet area. The only thing that was an issue for us was the hall bathtub. Three of us tried to get the shower to work but we could not. Not sure if there was a trick or it was not operable. Since there was only three of us we shared to other shower and it was not an issue. Definately will recommend and would love to come back and stay. Great hosts!!!
The property is exactly as described. Clean, nice dishes. Very quiet neighborhood, we saw deer in the back every day. No A/C, but we survived by opening the windows at night to cool off. Ate great food at Wetlands Taphouse not far away.
What a great place to stay. The house was clean and tidy. The back patio was a great place to sit in the evening to watch the sun go down below the trees and see some wildlife. The house is far enough away from the freeway to enjoy the quiet outdoors. Definitely recommend. Thank you very much.
The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The home was clean and well stocked with paper items. The location is 3.5 miles outside of La Pine on a very dusty road (typical of the area). The surrounding homes ranged from nice to very poor with lots of junk in the yards. Inside this home was not cozy. White walls, no floor lamps, no toaster, no air conditioning. We had to leave the blinds closed to keep the house cool enough for the afternoon heat. The water pressure at the home is ok as long as you are using only one water source. Using the outside faucet and taking a shower was not possible.
We had a great time staying at the house! It was clean and well stocked! We had a fire alarm beeping and Lisa got someone over to solve the issue quickly! Thank you!
The house was clean and the host was easy to communicate with. Standard check in/check out process. Very hassle free. Thank you!
Had a wonderful time! Beautiful home and enjoyed our stay!!
We very much appreciated the flexibility they gave us for checkin however the gas fireplace was not working ( the gas was turned off, pilot light was out and would not light) and the heat was set very low and everything we tried to do to bypass the setting on the furnace didn’t work. We woke up in the morning after a chilly night to it being 50 degrees in the house. The house was very clean and nice and as described, just would’ve appreciated heat or some house instructions.
