The tv wasn't working. They advertised an observation deck with the telescope and telescope wasn't working.
I want to start off by saying that the pictures of the home due it no justice. I was a little confused on the layout by the pictures but once we arrived we fell in love. It was accommodating to our big family of 8 6 being kids. Pros: It’s a big home with plenty of space. A lot to entertain the kids (pool table, air hockey and board games) Clean and decorated enough to make it look nice but not over decorated to where I was worked the kids could damage something. Kitchen was fully equipped. Home has everything you need. Cons: You can’t change the temperature of the home it wasn’t horrible but two nights the temperatures dropped a lot and some parts of the home were really cold like the master bathroom it was freezing. If you have kids there is no outdoor play space. Wish it had an outdoor heater to help the cold if you would like to sit and drink some coffee on the beautiful porch. We rented to spend Christmas here and wish they would have had a Christmas tree (personal opinion) for families coming for the holidays specially with children. Be ware of the altitude sickness we got sick but that’s not the home owners fault just a friendly reminder, us Texans did get sick and it wasn’t fun. Are overall experience was great I just want to leave an honest review. I would stay here again ❤️ P.s I also communicated with Aimee several times about different questions I had and she was very helpful and replied in a timely manner.
Great location. Beautiful cabin with all that you could need. Enjoyed our stay here for our yearly Colorado trip.
Absolutely love the home. No complaints at all!
Loved the house the views were amazing the only disappointment was the house sits above the main road to Breckinridge so the traffic noise is very loud if your looking to sit on the patio enjoying the view talking to family forget it you can’t hear each other. The traffic noise is all day long morning to well after midnight.
Great location. We were impressed by the floorplan/layout of the house.
Very clean, cozy home. Our family of 6 enjoyed the scenic views, and the comfort of this home. No complaints at all. The observation room was amazing on clear nights with telescope.
We had 4 adults and 2 children stay in this beautiful cabin for Thanksgiving. The views were amazing, especially the sunsets! The Home was decorated like a contemporary cabin with lots of wood features and right out of a magazine. The pool table/air hockey table was a huge hit with kids and adults. Everyone loved the observation level with the telescopes. The beds were comfy and spaced nicely for privacy when multiple families are staying. The only suggestion I have, even though the kitchen was pretty well equipped, it could use more pot holders, towels and baking dishes. Since it was a holiday, we made pies and baked french toast and had to get creative with dishes. Overall, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
This house has beautiful views. It's a nice, modern property, but the cleaning service was clearly taking a lot of shortcuts. When I contacted the property manager with a list of items that warranted attention, I got no response. I did forward the list to the owners, and to their credit they did respond with apologies.
We used this house as the base for our family reunion of 4 adult couples. There was plenty of room for all of us to be together or break off to have some alone time. The views were wonderful and star gazing while sitting on the balcony was fantastic and relaxing. There are a few minor maintenance items we pointed out that we were told would addressed. It was a bit out of the way for our planned activities (seeing National and state parks) but still enjoyed spending the week there. I imagine getting to it in winter would be more challenging with the gravel roads and driveway and the steep inclines in the area.
The property was well maintained and comfortable. Overall, we were pleased with the stay. Good mid-point for many day excursions. Amazing stars at night! TV still not working. Fire alarm went off late at night due to low battery. Dryer took several cycles to completely dry towels and sheets. Basics (tp, handsoap, paper towels) were not as well stocked as we have had in other vrbo's.
