Experience the charm of Two Cubs Cabin

It was incredibly peaceful with a beautiful view both in the evening time and during the day. We loved sitting by the fire with a glass of wine watching the sunset. The cabin itself was roomy with very comfortable beds and living room with a large TV for watching movies. The showers were excellent and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils.

This was a beautiful cabin. It is about 25 minutes away from downtown Bryson City. We went to the Polar Express Train Ride so it was convenient for us distance wise. The ladies in the office that work during the day when you call the number are very nice. Their site does have information letting you know that some of the cabins may be hard to find at night. One office lady said I should be ok finding this particular cabin. However this cabin is not very easy to find the first time in the dark. I suggest making sure you check in before dark so you don't get lost like we did. The GPS doesn't lead you all the way to the house. So once the GPS tells you where the house is (which it said the woods) you are on your own to figure out the rest of the way. I could not get anyone to answer the after hours number for help. I even tried texting the number but had no answer, The house is beautiful though but I will say whoever is doing the house cleaning is not cleaning very well. Under the master bed was two different pairs of dirty socks with dust. The second bedroom had a shirt hanging in the closet. So it looks like the cleaning people are just doing the bare minimum and not deep cleaning the house at all. There was a trash bag of what looked like maybe dirty linens left on the couch upstairs by the pool table. The outside swing has fungus growing on the seat. It would have been nice to swing on it while looking out at the mountains. The view is very beautiful. All and all we loved the house itself. The fireplace is really awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. Downtown Bryso City was welcoming and great.

Everything about this property was perfect. The location is beautiful. The house has everything you need. Check In/out process very easy. One small question to the host and they responded immediately. The rice wagon food truck is recommended for a quick bite to eat.

Very nice cabin, with nice furniture. Good location, beautiful views. Very private area. Easy to find and scenic area.

This was a great property, and I didn’t expect it to be nearly as good as it was. There was a slight issue with the water, which was no one’s fault, but they got somebody out there in less than an hour, and the two young gentleman were the nicest ever! I would definitely stay there again. Oh… and the view!!!!!

We had to reschedule our trip due to a hurricane so the house pictured on this request for a review is not the house we stayed at. I gave a higher star rating because it is not fair to ding this house. But, I will put my issues here in this narrative in hopes it will help others. Communication with the rental company was sparse. When I would send in a question, it was returned with a short yes or no rather than an explanation. For example, when we were trying to decide about rescheduling, I sent in something like I realize it is too late to cancel without losing our deposit, but can i reschedule and I got back yes - so then I had to reply back asking how to go about that, how to find properties by this rental company, did it have to be the same house, etc. Because of availability, we ended up with a different house, but they said they couldn't switch it in the reservation system so that made me nervous the whole time. The day of arrival, I never got the entry information and had to call the office several times before it was sent to me. Upon arrival, the house number was not correct - we were not entirely sure we were at the right place except that you couldn't go any further (house is at a dead end). the Wi-fi info they gave me was different than what was in the house instruction notebook and neither was correct. I had specifically chosen a house with solid wifi becaue I had to work some during the week. After a couple of calls to the office, I finally just went to the router and pulled the password from there. The house was not as clean as I would have liked, the main traffic areas were okay, but there was a lot of dust etc. around the fireplace, under chairs, etc. and there was a roach in the master shower. The house itself is beautiful and the view is spectacular, but they did not state it is a 30 minute plus drive up the mountain to get there - the description read minutes from...it was enough of a trek that it dramatically changed our plans for the week where we went and got groceries and stayed home whereas we had intended to do more things. You cannot just run out for a quick bite to eat or to grab breakfast as we are accustomed to. I would absolutely love to stay at this property again, but i would be better prepared next time and would prefer not to use this same rental company.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home. We only wish it really was ours, lol. The house is perfectly decorated and accommodating. Loved the pool table, had so much fun with it. The fire pit and view was our favorite thing. Wished the hot tub worked but they did compensate us and that was appreciated. It did not take away from anything really! I 100% recommend this home!
