Stayed Dec 31, 2024Good sized cabin for our family of 6…our four boys enjoyed the game room garage, plenty of space for all to spread out. Hot tub at sunset was pretty awesome, but come back for the star show later in the evening - spectacular!

Stayed Dec 8, 2024Loved sunset vista! The view was amazing and the house was stocked with everything needed. I will say you do need 4WD or AWD vehicle. Driveway is steep and a few sharp turns but the view was so worth it! House was clean and great for our group of six and the pups.

Stayed Sep 21, 2024Remote Mountain top location make this spot a real treat. It is still within a 20 to 30 min drive to the NOC and Bryon City. We loved our time at Sunset Vista!

Stayed Oct 13, 2023The highlight of the property is the incredible view of the Smoky Mountains! The property is perfectly positioned at the tippy top of the mountain, facilitating beauty, peace and tranquility. The house was extremely well stocked with basics plus ALL the extras. We felt like the house was a destination in and of itself. The water pressure was very low, but didn't stop us. The one downside (only if not prepared), is traversing the mountain in a vehicle that is anything less than 4 wheel drive. A truly wonderful mountain vacation destination!

Stayed Sep 19, 2023Over the last 25 years or so we probably rented cabins in Virginia , Northeast Georgia and North Carolina more than a dozen times. Sunset Vista is by far the best one ever. The location is a comfortable drive to the most secluded setting and in reasonably close proximity to many of the amenities came for. Hiking, was our main attraction and we were close to many stunning trails. But the home was perfect for relaxing and recharging. The sunsets, the fire pit, the gas fire place, the hot tub, the equipped kitchen and the comfortable furniture made it a perfect stay for us. We would definitely come back and we strongly encourage others to stay there.
