The cabin was located in a quiet, somewhat secluded area. It was comfortable. We enjoyed our short stay. Lots of squirrels in the trees overhead. Both nights we were awakened by coyotes howling sometime early morning. The second night they seemed to be quite close. It also sounded as if a barking dog was along the outside wall either using the cabin as protection from the coyotes or, perhaps, protecting us inside. Sasquatch was not detected but had adequate cover if in the area.
Wonderful cabin in the mountains. Very comfortable and secluded. Would recommend to anyone.
Went in everything look alright, got to the pull out bed the was a rats nest on the bed an all the kitchen stuff plates, an forks an stuff still had food cakes on them had do wash everything an tub was dirty had to clean before using but you just looking for a place to stay i guess it would be ok in a pinch
It was like going back to deer camp. Nice quiet place out of the way.
Loved it! It’s a very remote but beautiful area. We would definitely stay here.
Wonderful spot to relax and reset in nature.
This was our second time staying at this cabin! We love the location! It's not far from a Dollar Store, liquor store, gas station, and restaurant. It's less then an hour away from Branson. We can't wait to go back!!
We were wanting a cabin secluded in the woods and this one definitely was. It's one big room. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. The mattress on both beds could be replaced. Not very comfortable. Furniture was rather dated but served its purpose. There were a lot of spider webs that could be swept away inside cabin and on porch. Driveway is decent however somewhat challenging when pulling a small cargo trailer because the turn in to the cabin is sharp and the driveway is steep, so be mindful of that. I do not recommend a low vehicle on this road. FYI: if a good heavy rain occurs, the bridge will wash out and flood over. Took us 3 hours until it was safe to pass over to get back to the cabin. If you are looking for a quiet backwoods country-like setting, this is the cabin for you. Host was very nice and quick to respond if we needed anything or had any questions.
This was for a last minute honeymoon and it was everything we were needing!! We spent most of the time outside with the beautiful view. It’s February, no leaves, can see pretty far! The cabin was so cute and came with pretty much everything we need but the food (duh) (had Walmart pick up ready to go in Harrison)! I loved the open layout and the kitchen stove! We cooked breakfast in the kitchen and had every meal other than on the grill!!! They provided firewood for $$ that we definitely used every day. I noticed some guest complained about the drive, that’s arkansas backroads for you. It’s not that bad, take it slow if you’re in anything other than a truck or SUV. This is REAL, BEAUTIFUL seclusion! We literally have nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back!
Exactly what we were looking for woods, quiet. Very nice little cabin. Thank you ?
Wonderful secluded cabin.
Decent place if you're looking for somewhere rustic, secluded, and near the mid Buffalo River (about 15 min from Pruitt and 20 from Ozark). We stayed here with our two dogs for a couple of nights; it's ideal for one couple or family. However, if you do bring pets, don't go too far up the drive, because there is a huge pack of protective dogs that live right across the way on 2900. Also, be aware that there is a septic tank in terms of the plumbing situation. Anyway, it's a cute little place. We enjoyed a rainstorm on the porch underneath the tin roof, made some great meals on the charcoal grill, and watched movies late at night on the couch.
