ER97 - Squirrel's Retreat - Close to the action in Pigeon Forge!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Cabin was nice with plenty of room. Only downfall was it shares parking with the cabin next door and I was not aware of the cabin next door nor the shared parking, as it doesnt show in the pictures or description of this cabin. Easily 8 minutes to Pigeon Forge so very convenient to go back & have lunch.

The cabin was cozy and location was great! The sofa bed in the living room was broken which made it extremely uncomfortable. The king bed in the primary had some type of plastic cover over the mattress, which made a noise every time we moved. It also made us sweat during the cool nights. We would wake up with our backs wet from sweat and cold on the top of our bodies. Just uncomfortable! Our grand girls were staying upstairs, and I had 5 sweatshirts in the washer, and it got off balance and scared them to death. Nothing can be done about this, these things happen. There was NOT enough blankets for 9 people, we ended up having to go buy blankets. The kitchen had one dish cloth and one wash rag; this definitely was not enough! We bought dish cloths as well. When I was the 4th person to take a shower one morning and had to take a cold shower, this is when we checked out a day early. I feel the accommodations are great for 5 people but 9 was too many. Beds upstairs were way more comfortable than the primary. The only entrance to the hot tub being through the primary was not ideal, especially with carpet in the primary, I was worried about wet floors.

This was a great cabin for a weekend away.

The cabin is in a great neighborhood and super close to the Island. There’s plenty of room to park 2 vehicles. Only issues we had, was that there were bags of M&Ms dumped under the bunk beds and empty water bottles on the floor upstairs along with leftover joints/weed left on the deck railing of porch. Also, we weren’t left any pool bracelets like the listing said we should have, but we never ended up going to the pool. The Cain does have basic cooking utensils, but not stocked like most vacation homes that we stay in.

The ease of check in was great! The upstairs space was perfect for my kids. We had lots of family time in the hot tub & playing pool!

Really close to pigeon forge and attractions and also to smoky mountain park.

The property was great. Very clean. Exactly like it was pictured online. It was perfect for myself, my husband and our 3 children. There was actually enough room for another person or two. Lots of bed space. We we definitely enjoyed ourselves.
