Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in the mountains. Our cabin was very nice, clean and comfortable. Loved waking up to the great views, will use these folks again.

The house and location was beautiful! Communication and check in process was great with host! Would highly recommend! We look forward to coming back in the future!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third visit with Mountain Laurel Chalets but our first stay at Sanctuary Song and it was fabulous! We brought another couple with us who had not visited the area and they loved the area and the chalet. The view is great - we spent so many hours sipping drinks on the deck and enjoying the view and solitude. The chalet is very clean but the deck is in need of a power washing and staining. We saw bears every day and love observing them on our trips. We will definitely stay here again.

So be prepared to see bears. As with any stay in the mountains the hills can be pretty steep to drive up to if you aren’t used to mountain roads. You will definitely need a 4 wheel drive in the winter months. The cabin was not too close to any other cabin so we felt we had our privacy. The only thing that needs to be updated is the deck. It really needs to be sanded and repainted. Also a swing chair outside would be awesome. During our first night we realized our blender was broken. We called and they brought a new one the next morning. The man who brought it was very kind and knowledgeable about the area as well.

The guest book needs updated. Most information and flyers are over 10 years old. Bees are living in the outside wall on the deck. Only 2 batteries worked for the three TV remotes. And remotes were in the wrong rooms. But, this was a nice place, and I would recommend to family and friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome experience at the Sanctuary Song Cabin... the drive is slightly steep but is doable in any vehicle! I do not know what the previous reviews are saying about the cabin having no view as we had an incredible view of the Sunrise and mountains every morning (it looks like maybe the trees that were blocking the view at one point were cut down- in any case, AMAZING view!!). The Hot Tub was an added bonus we were able to enjoy. Highly recommended cabin to stay at with your family.
