Weather was great and location was amazing. The house had a urine smell. The hallway bathroom and second bedroom very strong. Otherwise perfect!!!

Tom & his staff were wonderful & quick to respond to any of our needs. The pools were close by & easy to access. We will definitely be back. :)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property had great views. We had a visit from 3 bears while we stayed, while we were preparing dinner. The kitchen and bathrooms were really clean, I appreciate the attention to details in those areas but other areas of the property were overlooked. My daughter spilled her snack in the floor and while cleaning it up I discovered lots of dog hair (I wasn’t aware that the property was pet friendly, my daughter has a dog allergy and had an allergic reaction, it took 5 days to get the reaction under control). The couch also had crumps between the couch cushions, these two things may seem like small complaints but it raises a question about cleanliness in general since we are still in a pandemic. The Mountain View was great but the light coming through the windows due to lack of coverings made it impossible to sleep past 6 AM.

If the goal or intent of the review request is to gain feedback on the stay then it should be sent only to the rental management company. That being said, the property was great, however not as clean as last time. Someone had dumped cracker crumbs in between the cushions of the love-seat. They weren't difficult to see - just had to look and there they were. Obviously the cleaning crew didn't look. Not to worry, I found the vacuum and took care of it myself. Dead bugs in the window ledge behind the wicker table. Again, right there for anyone to see - just have to look. If something as simple as inspecting the couch cushions was neglected, then what else was overlooked? Otherwise, everything else was fine. The master bath vent/fan might need some attention. Sounds like it's hitting something maybe? Not sure. It was nice to see the water leaking into the downstairs den from the bathroom above has been fixed and the ceiling replaced. Looks good! WD-40 on the bedroom and bathroom hinges would work wonders. It's on my list to bring next year, just in case you don't get around to it. The lady in the office was kind and cordial, but not very warm. Maybe having a bad day. I didn't take it personally.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed with Mt. Laurel several times (5 or 6 I think) and it's always been great. We encountered a bit of a challenge this time. Upon check in, we realized our hot tub was not working. That by itself is not a big deal. The office sent someone right up and he had a look. He found a particular part needed to be replaced and that part was not on hand but could be ordered. From that point forward, no one really had any good information about when the repair might happen. The next morning we stopped in the office and were told maybe today, definitely tomorrow. Neither happened. Over the next few days we called a few more times and we just got the run around each time. I really would have appreciated a direct conversation regarding their realistic expectations of when it might be fixed even if that meant telling us that the part would be here too late for us to enjoy the hot tub. Lastly, at check out, I left with the impression that the GM would be calling to discuss further and what not. I was in a perfectly good mood at that point and just anxious to resolve the whole thing. That call never came. This property is beautiful with a magnificent view. It was very clean and comfortable. I just wish the staff had been more direct with me. We'll almost certainly use Mt. Laurel again. We come to the Smokies each year (often multiple times a year.) I look forward to a better experience next time.

The house is comfortable but there are no window coverings in the living areas. Ok in daytime but not at night. Only complaint with check-in was we were given a map but also told GPS could be used. That resulted in a dangerous route with blind curves and barely room for 2 cars. USE THE MAP!

We were startled by bears the first night, but had been warned by a previous review. We had bears on our patio every night. We were reluctant to use the hot tub for that reason. We also noticed carpenter ants in the master bedroom around the bed area. Overall we enjoyed our stay because the positives outweighed the negatives. The view was spectacular and the layout was very nice.
